I can't kill without dumping at least half of a magazine into someone. It takes very little ammunition to drop me. It seems like the game is extremely unbalanced in comparison to other FPS games. Altering the damage or damage someone can take based on how long they've been playing the game creates this I believe. |

Headshots are really effective. Train yourself to shoot heads at optimal weapon range and opponents will drop in seconds. I have personally wiped out Proto geared mercs with a militia AR because headshots are so effective. |

Welcome to Dust! Think about it this way. Two military forces are fighting each other. One is well funded, has the latest tech, expertly trained, and well led. The other has no real training, no funds, no leadership, and bulky outdated gear. Who will win? Don't make the mistake of thinking this is just another shooter. Its much deeper than that. The weapons are actually balanced pretty well but there are small advantages to getting better gear that when combined with upgraded skills, suits, modules, and weapons give a big advantage. Skill up smartly, upgrade equipment as you can and you will be able to hold your own just like the rest. |

It's not only the gun that comes to play. It's how well you shoot at players. That skill is better then any skillpoint! |

Let me introduce something a little more advanced: ISK War.
That's basically asking yourself: how much ISK is the other guy using, and how much ISK am I using?
Let's say you somehow killed each other (I've done it). He used full Proto, and you used one of your starter fits.
In that situation, you beat him, because he lost well over 150k in that death, and you didn't lose a cent.
As hard as it can be to fight a player spending all that money, may that knowledge make the kill all the more satisfying, as it was actually his expenditures that were "not worth it" in that match.
In short: SP and ISK go a long way, but not nearly as long as your FPS skills - the 50 cent bullet that landed an accurate kill is better than the $1,000,000 missile that was a dud. |

Too many people forget this is a rpg as well. This is a full PvP style, so when you start out you are going to get pwned hard, just like every other PvP RPG. You have to work hard to a bad ass as in every other rpg, your not intitled to it from day one. |

You won't get my sympathy here. Your QQ is very cute but it is too easy to shoot you down. 
What Drop Suit are you wearing. Let me take a wild guess. Scout.
What weapon are you using? Well, you took them out so that might mean an Assault Rifle.
Now, if you can take them out with half a clip you are doing very well and you seriously need to quit the QQ.
If you are wearing that Scout suit then be aware that a stiff breeze will leave your gizzard on the ground and your blood in the Dust.
