This is why I was okay with it when they said they were nixing the assault dropship. It's a weird half-measure that doesn't work well as a transport or attack vehicle. And I'm with Mike Ehrmentraut. No half measures.

I forget if it's been implemented yet or not, but faction warfare is supposed to eventually allow full team squads. That makes for a pretty significant meta-game shift to distinguish it from quick battles.
