If the Assault Dropships are going to be taken out of the game or if the aiming will stay the way it's now then i will just delete this game.

The Assault Dropships are the only thing i like about the game.

I feel sorry for other users that can't fly but i LOVED it.

Yeah i took out a few guys because i could aim it very well but not nearly as much as i do on the ground.

And i am one of those rare guys who fly RC helicopters around the living room so i actually know how to fly and land it on a penny.

The new Aiming camera that was changed yesterday just completely ruins this game for me.

Guys who only use tanks should ask themselves if they would still like it without the option to fire it themselves.

You guys should REALLY reconsider to NOT take out the assault dropships and put them back to the way they were.
AND come up with some options to change te cam because this setup with the cursor on top of the ship is just plain bullying guys like me.

P.s. the most kills i ever had with the assault ship were 16. Because of the forgegunners it's allready difficult enough as it is. I had 45 kills in a skirmish on the ground so you guys should be happy with me in the air and not on the ground.

why are you removing them? Ive been a pilot since closed beta, and now you're taking away the only aspect of the game I enjoyed. They were underpowered, sure. But doesn't change the fact I loved using them.

So will you replace them with the fighter jets and pilot suits? or are you legitimately screwing every pilot in the game ..

As a pilot myself, I'm glad to see the Assault Dropship go. It was an awkward mix of gunship and transport that didn't fill either role well, or ever would be able to.

Now the logi dropship, I like the idea of that. In principle. But the implementation was pretty useless. It had a stock mCRU, but sacrificed the equivalent PG/CPU leading to poorer tank than the standard variants. There was a time when you could literally fit an armor DS with an mCRU and get more tank than a logi dropship. Basically, as it is now it doesn't do anything the standard variants can't do just as well for a lot less isk.

I'm hoping the logi comes back with bonuses to range and PG/CPU usage of remote reps. I'd like to see it used for spot healing heavy vehicles, the way logi cruisers are in EVE.

Has it actually been confirmed that they are removing them? There is still a month or 2 before the vehicle changes come out. Seems rather insane to go removing the variants, as plenty of people put points into them. Seems like an incredibly stupid idea on so many levels.

Can anyone get Dev confirmation on the subject. If this is true, my respect for ccp will plummet, as they are showing no respect to those this particular player base.

Yea, it's been confirmed. Wolfman intends on making the base perfect before getting variants out.

All I can say is:

If my incubus isn't put back in the game within a month of its removal, or jets are put in, I will delete dust.
