Because whether or not something is called 'anime' depends entirely on its country origin and whether or not it's live action or animated. Panty and Stocking is an animated show. Panty and Stocking is made in Japan. Panty and Stocking is anime.

The vivid colors on the dark background are very pleasing to the eye and should help it stand out against a wall. Finished season 4 of Familiar of Zero. Really enjoyed the entire series, which I honestly wasn't expecting given how unlikeable Louise is presented throughout the show. Suppose it's a good sign for a harem anime that you actually feel bad the "losers" of Saito's affection, particularly Henrietta and Tabitha, though it was refreshing to see the main character actually make a decision of who to be with and stick to it. Have about 3 hours until I head off to work so I guess I'll look for the next series to watch. Mike Patton is the greatest singer in music. Proof

First off was a recommendation made from this thread to watch a show whose name escapes me, but is about a highly morale japan and a girl fighting it with vulgar terroism. it's awful, plain and simply, lol. Even No Games No Life plot-line was more settled in reality then this, and i could have EASILY looked past that if the show had anything else going for it. But it only had one thing going for it - The MC is pretty cool. Everyone else? Putrid. The females designs aren't even attractive, they're actually close to being just ugly. The character design reminded me of a incest show about a girl moving in with her brother, but so does the student council. The eyelashes blend in with the hair and skin and the contrast of faces come off baby designed, as if maturity never settled. But where as that show i still considered the characters attractive, these aren't. I just can't get into this show. Hopefully more episodes will show some development for these characters VERY fast. Monster Girl - I know a lot of you have been waiting for the show, snake girls, bird girls, spider girls, all sort of super freaky looking animal girls. I knew I wouldn't like 'em, felt like beastality when they had ecchi moments even with the human top. But it's a pretty good show and got me to laugh a few times. Mostly i was just curious if snakes have vaginas or not lol Charllote - Crunchyroll found a gem with this show. The MC reminds me of the MC from Code Geasse - ESPECIALLY that villainous smile! And how it all turns around on him after the shows initial set up was pretty cool. This is looking to be the best show so far this season.

Technically, RWBY isn't an anime. It was made by Rooster Teeth, the same guys who did the Red vs. Blue Halo series. However, it's available on Netflix and Crunchyroll. It's actually really good. Altogether the series is only like 4 hours so it's worth looking into if you have some time on your hands. Who needs gun game when you have kinetic catalyzers?

I like pretty much everything you said, i love the clean digital art look SAO and angel beats have but i'm also a massive fan of the look of shows like kill la kill, RWBY, and shinsekai yori, as long as the style fits the theme, doesn't look too bad, or hurts my eye (sideonia) i don't mind.
