It all boils down to how powerful the Goddess actually are. If it's overwhelming, they don't need someone already beefed up, if it's just a complentary power, then yea, she is obviously the best pick.
But it's being forced because the other half was stolen. So it's obvious why they wanted the best, but not obvious why they'd put her at risk with an untested device. If it can rip it out of one girl, it can do it to two, or 3, or 4.
And one point confuses me, Red Head had a duel with that guy who Blondie beat, but the show was playing it like he could beat her whenever. But when he faced blondie, he wanted to win, and still lost.

lol, would take a while, we'd have to comb every show basically that isn't pre-teen shonen, since they wouldn't care about building a deeper relationship. Though Hunter x Hunter may be an exception to that.
there's even OVA's dedicated as christmas episodes for some shows. Love Hina for sure has one.

Invaders of the Rokujyoma also has a sweet Christmas episode; think it was the final episode.
So...the DxD Born OVA is out. Finally get to see the reappearance of Riser and find out what's been happening to him in the six months after he was defeated by Issei. But you don't care about that, do you? No, what's more important is the massive amount of bouncing plot: well fear not, not only do you see the usual suspects (i.e. Issei's entire harem) go topless, you also get the bonus of Ravel (Riser's little sister) and the *ahem* well-developed Rossweisse. It's a silly, predictable episode that's gratuitous for the point of being gratuitous...but it's also nice to see that they haven't forgotten events from the beginning of the show.
December's only half-over and there's still so much more uncensored goodness to look forward to!

Start from Season 3 Episode 1:
Emerald is shown to know the members of RWBY quite well. Probably well enough to know they are close to JNPR.
Eventually we see some hijinks of Neo being able to disguise herself. Seeing as the eye color change, it's probable that she can change her entire appearance on the fly.
Emerald and Mercury show (or don't show) their abilities. People who have suspicions of what Emerald could do get them reinforced. (I only noticed it this episode.) Emerald can possibly do illusions or mess with people's heads.
Finally, episode 6:
Emerald isn't in her seat.
We see a great display of a fight and Mercury's control of his abilities - a fight where Mercury already knows what Yang's semblance is and controls an attack to put her into that state. A control so great, Yang is left at 16 life left with a small sliver to leave her still in the match. In other words, he wanted her to do exactly that.
On top of it, he wanted to be a loss. What better way than to make her "defend" herself from an unexpected attack only to make it look like she "attacked" the loser? All the moreso, he probably lowered his Aura to let her do just that.
And in comes Emerald, right at his side, as if she was standing just outside of the ring...
Finally, they mess with Yang's head. Notice the cut to the Grimm. Sure they could have gone after Pyrrha right then and there, but Cinder and her team would be outmatched. Wouldn't it be better to 1) pick apart team RWBY, close friends to team JNPR, while simultaneously causing enough negative emotion from say a whole stadium to draw our Grimm friends from the jump cut closer to the tournament? This means they are able to accomplish the start of the breakdown of friendship bonds, throwing them into present chaos, while setting up a move to bring Grimm toward the stadium before the end of the tournament for future chaos?

You make valid points, except for the reasonings for the set up.
People are not going to Boo louder then they cheer, so to get the best and loudest reaction possible, you'd want to give the best matches possible. So taking out a contestant with dirty tricks would mean less matches, less cheering.
And the fact the Grim can hear what's going on concerns me - is City life really so quite? Has no one ever done anything before where a lot of people got together and just... partied? No loud music, nothing?

Not necessarily, but to contest that would be to go off topic. The main point is that Mercury and Emerald wanted to make Yang punch Mercury to where he would break his leg. What a better way to conjure negative emotion than a display like that: a person who won taking a completely, uncalled-for cheap shot at the person who lost?

Well, there was Yellow Trailer. And that one time during season 2 before Blake and Sun started getting chased by that Paladin.
I'm sure "a lot of people got together and just partied" with loud music before. But this time around, it's the Vytal Festival, which seems to be a lot like the Olympics, as mentioned by Weiss that Vale (the continent they are on now) got chosen this year.
My point there is, I'm sure there are very, very large gatherings, but nothing compared to a Vytal Festival gathering.
Furthermore, the city being loud or quiet, has nothing to do with Grimm being able to hear it or not. They are "drawn to negative emotion". They "grow much stronger with each battle they live through". They "learn".
And if those elephant-like Grimm are taking notice, that's a really bad sign for our protagonists.

I guess I should have said the theme of it... Maybe...
I haven't seen Accel World (I swear, this is the umpteenth time I've been reminded I need to see it) or Amatsuki and I'll check those out...
But I want to contest Summer Wars a bit. Yes, there are video game usage, but it's merely a means to an end, with Slice of Life being it's main theme. Contrasting it, the others have more of a theme involving the video game: figuring out the mystery, the rules behind it all, what called them there in the first place, and attempting to defeat it.
But I didn't explicitly state it and Summer Wars fits my written criteria... I'll allow it. 
Thanks for the other two though - going to add to a need-to-watch list.

I didn't much like any of the posters. I'd pass on em all, but the NGNLlooked good.
I also caught up on Noragami, and I just love this shows dynamic. It has slap stick, almost immature comedy, then just blows your mind with a moment dark enough for Elfen Lied. The contrast keeps everything fresh, but it's those dark moments that the show builds on it's dramatics, gives meaning to the plot, and let's the characters grow in a very natural way. Intense experiences changes us, but when we share those experiences, they bring us together in strong ways. But how would those experiences effect a person whose lived centuries?
Between that aspect, the gods relationship with each other, the Reglia's relationship with... everyone, and throw in great romance, great fights, and a cast of great characters, a large cast, this show has everything going for it. It even has some nice twists.
Heavy Objects I checked out: Another show that took me by surprised this season with just how good it was. It isn't mech vs mech, it's flesh v machine, and it's hilarious and interesting. |

I'm planning on watching Heavy Object after the season finishes up. Honestly, I watched the first episode, and well... I wasn't too up on it. The only reason I even wanna watch it is because the Light Novel it's based on was written by the same person who wrote RailDex.
Chuunibyou has a good Christmas OVA. You get a nice little touch of yuri in it too.
As for the poster situation, I didn't take a look at any of them, but I love Beyond the Boundary. That'd basically merit a purchase on franchise alone. Hell, I bought an Angel Beats light switch cover, and it can't even fit on my current switch!

I've seen the first two season at least 4 times, I have no problem with it, I like the cast enough, plus it's the entire setting and chemistry building the show relies on.

The forums are fully operational, and the account ties to the site itself.
We have no graphic artist to create a skin so the template is the basic one. The list is still being created and organized, and the individual pages for each show is still under construction, but the format and outline you'll be able to see clearly.
A review has been added t some of them, but they'll be replaced the closer we get to finishing and start partnering up with reviewers for there content.

We ditched the home page till we can get a graphics designer, at which point a news section will be added that'll update a long with MAL, ANN, and CR.
We also set up an 'editor' rank to anyone who wants to add to the site. The template to create pages is available to copy and paste, then you just fill in the blanks and add images - wallah, you've just expanded the site. |

A review has been added t some of them, but they'll be replaced the closer we get to finishing and start partnering up with reviewers for there content.

We ditched the home page till we can get a graphics designer, at which point a news section will be added that'll update a long with MAL, ANN, and CR.
We also set up an 'editor' rank to anyone who wants to add to the site. The template to create pages is available to copy and paste, then you just fill in the blanks and add images - wallah, you've just expanded the site.
EDIT: You may need to register wit the forums to make the account.
EDIT2: problem found and fixed, registry is now possible.
