That's just the way the browser you are using is made. There's nothing wrong with the browser or the file format. It is not too difficult to convert it to excel, but you can download a converted version I've done here. If the "download" link doesn't work, click dismiss and go to file->download. That worked for me when I tested it. |

So it seems Assault Rifles are the only "primary" weapon with the Sharpshooter skill, which has been shown to reduce dispersion. So from a performance standpoint to get max performance users will need to spend extra SP into this (x3) skill. Wonder if this will be enough to quell those who are of the opinion that the AR has more advantage. Curious. |

Thank you so much for this list finally. It gives me a good head start on rewriting the skill planner and SP tracker... I'm still starting with a basic spreadsheet version but would like to add some drop menues to maybe make it easier and maybe faster for people to use. Possibly include skill effect data links or drop-boxes to each skill... Maybe even the SB ISK cost to add in to the whole mess at some point.
Alas, it does appear I'll be waiting another couple days to find out the specific new prerequisite levels for each skill but this gives me a good basis to get started on.
I will say first off, to your scripters, thank you... THANK YOU! Thank you and Baby Jesus bless you for not changing your math. I was already having nightmares about having to re-figure and write that whole mess of a function.

Can we get a list of skill requirements for each skill level
For E.G What level is of skill is needed in Dropsuit command to unlock Scout or Medium What level of Medium is needed to unlock Assault or Logistics
Same really for all skills that have a prerequisite skill of a certain level |

They answered that in the blog.
Quote:As such, the items in your Assets will be removed, and their ISK/AUR value at the time of the respec will be put back into your in-game wallet. This allows you to immediately retrain skills and repurchase items to remake your fittings and go to battle.
NOTE: they also said you'll be getting Officer weapons back. |

100 AUR... you overpaid dude. How about 30/50 AUR
Offcourse we will get fully reimbursed at current marketprice... why wouldn't we ? It does say so in the dev blog 'ALL AUR items'. I was planning to sell those BPO's on the marketplace for a bunch of ISK, yet this option suits me way way better.
A 7 digit AUR count... You won't hear me complain

Hopefully it's like EVE after the last major skill change where it only takes level 4 to unlock the next tier since level 5 is supposed to be highly specialized. If we have to go to level 5, it's going to take 5,285,640 SP just for the skills of a dropsuit and 3,109,200 just to get proficiency for a single weapon. That doesn't include the rapid reload or the ammo capacity or any support skills so we're looking at almost 8.4 million just for the suit and weapon skills. If it's level 4, then the same thing will cost just under 3.9 million. |

Hello, I have a question that's I've really been wondering about.
I bought the mercenary pack during the promotional weekend mentioned in this newsletter, and so I got 3 AUR BPOs attached to my account for free (I think their names are raven, sever, and valor).
Will these still be attached to my account after Uprising, or will they be refunded for their current AUR cost so I can go buy them again?
And thanks for this dev blog guys, you've already managed to clear up most of my other concerns! |

Making ISK from market opportunities that arise in Eve/Dust is all fine and good. But giving out AUR worth thousands of real life $$ to players just because they bought a stack of militia BPOs for the price of a single merc-pack in January definitely crosses a line.
I really hope CCP considered that when making their plans for refunding items. Imho, there is no point in refunding more than one BPO of each type, since a player can't use more than one anyway. All extra BPOs were bought clearly with the intent of never using them, so why refund them because of the skill change? |

So you need level 5 of something to move to the next level? Are you kidding me? So I can't decide to customize my character with a little extra 3% of this and a extra 2% of that because I am to stupid to understand how to read a list? You just completely took the Eve out of this game if thats the direction you are going... I can't even think of words on how disappointed I am at this change. It's like you made everyone more generic and added training time. Here this is the "path" you take let me hold your hand to skill you to these weapons...
You dont need lvl 5 to get the next skill in the tree, check the dev blog and it shows this, however we dont know how many points are needed in each item to unlock another in the tree |

Eskel Bondfree wrote: Imho, there is no point in refunding more than one BPO of each type, since a player can't use more than one anyway
You do know that Hell will fall upon Eden when they go with this don't you ? Some people bought XX amount of BPO's, so seriously HOW on earth do you think it will be ok to refund only 1... In that case they should have Locked the purchases at 1.
We ALL knew prices would be upped ...
I bought XX of nearly ALL BPO's x 2 characters, with the idea to keep a few for the corp and to sell the rest in ISK once the marketplace would be released. Now if CCP wants to convert the ISK I planned to make in AUR then so be it. I shall see that as repayment for an intelligent move. (or I could simply see it as a return on the investment I made in CCP with the merc packs I've been buying for almost a year)
so YES there IS a point in refunding ALL BPO's at market price. Some bought XX so we should get XX refunded. I for one don't care if it is in AUR or partially in ISK since I would have soo much AUR I wouldn't even know what to do with it, it is the general idea that counts.
There are at times rare opportunities in the EVE universe and some people saw this one coming from lightyears away... .. . |

Am I missing the skills for power grid and cpu at a early stage of the skill tree? It looks like mixing and matching wierd combination of weapons at a low skill level is out of the game? I mean it make sense you should max out your level 5 damage before being able to actually fit the weapons but what if I don't want to do that? |

Dev Blog wrote:All ISK items will be cleared from Assets and their CURRENT ISK value added back to wallet In addition to this, we also have a list of items (new and old) that you can expect to see in the Uprising update as well here
Now I'm confused. I.e. the Balac's GAR-21 AR is an officer weapon and will be returned to our inventory. due to QA while the Dev Blog states that all ISK-items will be removed and the excel-sheet in the link clearly shows an ISK-value of 126.495 for the Balac.
So my question is: will officer weapons be purchaseable? Dev Blog and spread sheet say yes but QA says no. |

Duh, you just proved my point. Why do you think CCP is refunding all your stuff? They do it so all the isk you already paid on stock piles of items is not wasted should you decide to never use them because of all the changes they made to the skill tree. Now how does that apply to the random salvaged items you got for free and that you never paid any money for? Yeah right, it doesn't apply to them at all. But you're lucky because apparently CCP can't decide whether the items in you inventory were bought on the market or you got them through salvage, so they'll refund all of them anyway. Easy solution, and everyone is happy, including you and me.
Now, refunding people millions of AUR is a whole other story, and imho it would just be ridiculous if CCP actually went through with that. Besides, why would anyone complain if they got to keep all their spare milita BPOs? They can still re-sell them for ISK just like they intended, no interference with all those carefully crafted master plans.
@Tenchu-13: the number of my drug dealer is 0190-YOU-DIDNT-GET-MY-POINT. It doesn't matter, I wasn't looking to start a debate on this, I just asked for an official answer from CCP-Eterne. |
