Respec FAQ: Q: What will happen to my Officer items after the Respec? A: Existing officer items will be returned to your characterGÇÖs inventory after the Respec.
Q: Will UVT as an item still be available in game? A: No. UVT will no longer be available on the market.
Q: Will the Respec apply to all characters in the account? A: Yes. All characters will receive the Respec.
Q: Will items won during the Testers Tournament carry over to Uprising? A: Yes, all unconsumed items will carry over to Uprising.
Q: Are the new weapons coming out on May 6th as well? I'm concerned about respecing into a weapon I don't have access to. A: No, new weapons are going to be deployed on May 14th - the official DUST 514 launch date.
Q: I'm a collector and bought vanity dropsuits during the closed beta that are no longer on the current build's market (Asoma heavy, Oblivion Logistics, Cabon Assault, Kindred scout etc.). Are some of these not being carried over in the Uprising build? What happens if they aren't? A: These dropsuits remain unmodified in the Uprising update.
Q: Will items that are no longer purchasable in the expansion persist such as the Sagaris or Surya? A: These will be refunded to you at their current market price.
Q: For those electing a character reset for the Mercenary Pack, would additional items outside the mercenary pack would be reissued? Such as Beta Rewards and Tournament Prizes. A: Extraordinary items such as from events and beta rewards will persist after Uprising. |

are skillbooks we bought be getting refunded? It was mentioned in Merc Cast that we would get our ISKies for skills we bought so we could rebuy them. Clarification would be great. TY |

Is there any word at all on the K/D stats from Skirmish, seeing as you say every stat carries over... so we can assume that Skirmish will still be null stats? |

You need to open it with a spreadsheet viewer, such as Excel, in order to see it properly. |

I asked on IRC if AUR BPO gear would be refunded at the current marketprice as well.
The answer was that they will, so people will get millions of AUR for all of those BPO items they bought back when they were like 100 AUR each. |

The skill ranks on the database dump look incorrect. They don't match the the skill tree version. Can we get an update to that since it includes all skills? Thanks for the data! |

I know, they're in two different formats that web browsers handle differently. |

Hmm, I'm not sure which is right. Sadly, I won't have the answers before Uprising due to it being the weekend. |

The tree must be correct for suits considering some of the crazy low values. But, I now have no confidence in the other skills and would like to make my plan. This gets us a lot farther down the road though.
Did we ever get an answer on the logistics bonus effecting in local or remote repping?

Why don't I have the option to download this file? It keeps trying to open as a web app in .csv format but won't display anything but jibberish (yes I have excel installed). Is this fixable? |

Right click and save file as. I don't know why web browsers try to open this file format, just because you can display it as plain text doesn't mean you should.
This is a comma seperated value file. It uses commas to delimit what should be in each cell, therefore when you download it you can open it with Excel (you should also ensure that Excel delimits only on commas, not spaces or any other character). |

I'm asking this everywhere else, so I might as well ask it here: do you have the CPU / PG for the Eryx / Prometheus dropships? The file doesn't list these, and it's literally the only thing I'm looking for =_= |

Save the file as a .txt then open it with excel. It is comma delimited. Fixes it right up. :) |

You should be able to right click and pick "Save link as" to download it. |

Does anyone know if you have to complete all the ranks in a previous skill to move on down the tree?
I'm assuming based on screen shots I have seen different skills paths have different requirements for forward movement.
Is it sad that the highlight of my week is a bunch of spreadsheets? When's EVE the tax editor coming out? :D |

Probably a question whose answer is bleedingly obvious by now, but I want to be clear. Dev blog states:
Quote:As such, the items in your Assets will be removed, and their ISK/AUR value at the time of the respec will be put back into your in-game wallet
But "time of the respec" is ambiguous, since the respec occurs during Uprising deployment, and presumably prices of some items will change too. So does this mean prices just before deployment, or just after?
I am guessing the answer is obviously that it means the prices before deployment, because later in the blog it says "CURRENT ISK value" and "current AUR value", but I'd like to be clear :)
Bonus question. I posted this on dust514.info, but I'm curious to know your thoughts. Is CCP using this opportunity to fix up some price discrepancies that appear to exist at the moment? Specifically, I said:
"Winsaucerer" wrote:Consider, for example, the duvolle and killswitch assault rifles. The former costs rougly 53k ISK, while the latter is 50 AUR, and they have similar stats except that the killswitch has lower skill requirements. Now suppose we consider them similar enough to do a conversion. We thus have 1 AUR = 1k ISK. Now, for $20, you can obtain 40,000 AUR. Converted, that means $20 = 40 mil ISK. In EVE you can purchase a PLEX and sell it on market to gain a bit over 500 mil. That means that there is a discrepancy in values of a factor of 10.
Will we see some of these discrepancies resolved soon? |

It means the prices at the time of deployment. If we have changed any prices, those will be the prices used.
