What really bugs me is that they are dragging their feet regarding the skill respec. If I knew what these new weapons that were introduced on the 16th were capable of I would have invested all my sp and aur towards upgrading shields and armour instead of minmatar dropsuits lv5. CCP, you advertised the skill respec...its time to deliver. |

There is another change in skill tree coming. Repec will happen after that, not before the skill tree is changed.
Within the next month was time estimated I last heard from CPM, this was about a week ago.
So, if no respec has happened mid June it is over due. |

I month, hell a week is way too long to wait for a skill point refund. There is no reason to wait for the new skill tree because it has nothing to do with mislabeled skills. They can refund SP for the mislabeled ones now, and the new skill tree will be dealt with later, which will affect all players.
For CCP to say they are waiting for the new skill tree is simply irresponsible and disrespectful to the players.
CCP has totally screwed over faction warfare for the lifespan of this game because they did not refund SP for mislabeled (and wrong prereq) skills BEFORE planetary conquest started. PC has already started and a lot of players where forced to have a disadvantage because of CCP's massive error. This means whoever controls whatever districts at the end of the day may not be the ones who SHOULD have controlled them.
This screw up at the start will forever affect the future of PC. It costs a whole lot more to attack a district than to defend one... think about that for a minute and consider how different the results could have been if the skill tree wasn't backasswards...

If a new skill tree is on its way then it makes sense for ccp to hold out on the skill respec. The reason is cause after that change, I'm sure even more people, us included, will want anouther repec. I can be patient for a bit longer. |

Any news yet on how much longer we need to wait to enjoy the game again if we screwed up with our first respec? I tried so hard to spend every point correctly, I even spent my alts skills and played a bit on them before spending the sp on my main, from playing on my alts I noticed heavies were over nerfed, that was my role of choice, but noticing the nerf I went with the assault rifle, and this gun is no fun to me at all, I went from averaging 20+ kills a match to being lucky if I go 12/10, its a totally alien style of play to my barbarian smash style, and I knew that when I picked it, really didnt want it, but as it was stronger than the HMG at that time, I thought I could make it work, but huge mistake, espescially with you guys working on hmg dmg now, and I for one need that respec to be able to enjoy myself again, and Im sure its not just me, so please CCP dont make us wait too long |

Alex, my nephew came really close to being in the same boat. He prefers the heavy, i prefer being a tanker, and i have no problem helping to overcome what he likes to call his jiggly armor ("i'm not fat, im big boned." well...bones don't jiggle) by being an occasional chauffeur. He came really close to using ARs over his heavy, because they were the flavor of the month. He's really happy now that he's held the line, and he can tell that they're working on the HMG. So that's a plus. Sure, your character may not be playable *now* but from what i've been told and what i've seen so far, this is a game that's meant to be going on for years...With that said, it couldn't *hurt* to have some AR flavor in you. On the other hand, i can dig it, man. TBH, I requested a respec as well for my tanker just so I could drop piloting and get rid of the dropsuit skills that 2 weeks ago we needed to have for some random vehicle modules that are no longer necessary. *shrug* meh, we'll see. I have a feeling though that I'm not hurting for a respec as badly as you are though. |

Got response to my ticket as well. States respect will come in the next few days with adjustments made to skill tree system. I would imagine it's coming with Wednesdays downtime, if that's still when they do updates & reset sp cap. |

It's good that they're making us wait for the new skills considering they're tweaking the cost of skills it might mean skills will be cheaper and more accessible.
That would mean we would be spending less sp for the tweaked skills s opposed to spending more if you fr the respec now |

i sent in a petition for a skill respec on...saturday night i think (5/18) and i never got that response back only one general acknowlegdement of my petition. had i known the scram rifle was better for me. or that the upgrade skills costed more i wouldve changed up sooner...need this one now |
