It seems to me you broke the rules in some way. You got banned, but you don't seem to be telling us why you got banned. Now you are upset that you can not get refunds for this. You are supposed to take it because you were wrong in some way. So if you didn't get banned in this happened it would still not be stealling it would be bad customer service.

If a cop busts someone doing something illegal they then take the money from that illegal action ( wether it was a part of it or not) they do not have to give that back. You did wrong and now you must pay the piper, in aurum form. No one will agree with you on this.

Well, CCP did everything correctly by refunding AUR into that account, and it was your choice to get banned by breaking the rules. Therefore they are not accountable for your inability to access that AUR.

The same can be said for everyone else including the imperfects. I suspect you are trying to do something that many would see as 'suspect'.

The copyright claims were probably an attempt, however desperate, to get your videos taken down. That account was permabanned for violating a Non-Disclosure Agreement. And I can imagine it happened to the other people who posted videos before NDA was lifted, you just haven't heard from them because they don't whine like you do.

All the facts/nonfacts aside. This should show people this IS NOT A BETA ANYMORE. When a company receives money for its software, it's not a beta anymore. This has been a paid "beta" for along time.

In CCP's initial contract to us the players, it said all aurum would be refunded when game launches right?

Then it was adjusted by them (legal?) and this is no longer the case. CCP will keep this game in a state of "beta" as long as they can. This allows them to shrug off all complaints as unfinished software and avoid any legal ramifications of changing their "aurum refunded" policy.


I have no internal knowledge of the happenings with Pdiggy22 or CCP during this time. But I do know that MANY people posted up videos of DUST514 during closed beta. Some were taken down by youtube, some werent, but the posters of said videos were never perma-banned like him. Some were definitely banned, but not to this extent.

Once again tag interferes with rational thinking. Was he in the wrong in posting videos during "closed beta" even though you could buy into it?

I think he violated the agreement and probably deserved some punishment because of the contract. But if you are going to perma-ban one person for it, you have to perma-ban them all and that didn't happen.
