Sounds like you need to grow up. You're acting like a spoilt brat. As soon as you don't get your way, you make it public, trying to make trouble (i.e. a tantrum). You're acting defiant in the face of a ban (punishment) for going against the rules. Grow the kitten up, you're not twelve. |

Sounds like you don't know what growing up is...
No, but there's a childish way to go about it, and an adult way. Throwing your toys out of the pram (i.e complaining to the BBB, posting emails publicly, insulting them) is childish. The adult way would be to explain your dilemma, e.g. "I haven't been refunded all of my aurum from closed beta. Can you please check the amount I've been given against the amount I've paid for?", as opposed to "or are you still busy counting the money you stole?"
Frankly, all I've seen of your posts, ever, have just said entitled, spoilt, immature prat. |

Pdiggy. You paid for aurum. That account then got banned. The aurum is linked directly to the account. In effect, when you started playing this game, you signed a contract with CCP. You agreed to their terms of service. You broke those rules, and at their discretion, they decided to ban you for it. Frankly, it's clear cut. No court would back you on this. You're not going to get a refund from CCP, because you violated the "contract" and you were punished for it.
Not stealing. You were simply being stupid. |

Oh jesus, you broke the NDA and you're complaining about being permabanned? No **** sherlock, what did you expect? Can you imagine being in a clan, leaking out some plans, and then being permabanned from that clan? Would you complain then?
Seriously. This is the most facepalm thread I've ever seen. |

Copyright has nothing to do with NDA. Sure, you recorded the video, sure, you posted it online. You broke an agreement with CCP about disclosing any content within the game.
Copyright has to do with ownership over something. NDA has to do with disclosing of information. There's no overlap.
At that time, the game wasn't "publicly available". You had to either pay to get in, or undergo a puzzle to play. Then you were warned about the NDA. If you disclosed information, you were banned. You were told in the simplest terms possible, yet you still did it.
Sorry, but you're an idiot. |

The copyright claims were probably an attempt, however desperate, to get your videos taken down. That account was permabanned for violating a Non-Disclosure Agreement. And I can imagine it happened to the other people who posted videos before NDA was lifted, you just haven't heard from them because they don't whine like you do.
CCP doesn't have a vendetta against you. Grow up. |

Regnum, there's no validity to Pdiggy's arguments.
1) No, it doesn't. You have to agree to the NDA before you can play. You still have to sign a contract, and hence, by playing, you agree to it. If you break it you asked to be punished.
2) Okay.
3) Youtube sided with Pdiggy with regards to the video being taken down, with regards to copyright law. Technically Pdiggy owns the video, and hence Youtube isn't obliged to take down the video because of CCP's claims. CCP can punish Pdiggy with regards to the breach of NDA, and hence, Pdiggy broke the NDA and then was punished for it. |

2. Okay, yes. I can see that. Apologies.
3. Not a rant. Constructive criticism. I'm informing him that his attitude is damaging his efforts to get any refund, and telling him how his behaviour could be improved.
4. Yes. Okay.
5. Not a troll. A troll tries to get a reaction by posting something inflammatory. If anything, he's trolling, not me. |

Dalton Smithe wrote:Here is the thing, we don't know why CCP banned him.
If he posted videos about DUST before open beta went live (December), he breached NDA, the non-disclosure agreement. He freely admits to that, and hence he was permabanned for breaching the NDA. |
