also i tweeted CmdrWang on Feb. 2nd and he told me there was a plan to introduce a new merc pack "that next week". but weeks passed and no sign of a new merc pack was noticed until just last week i think. the starter pack sucks imho because it doesn't give us anything. they are only good towards someone who hasnt spent a day on dust yet.

Yeah it's getting bad, more of my friends know about Destiny but haven't heard of Dust. The fact that Bungie is vastly well known worldwide from creating Halo as well as their experience in beautiful worlds and top notch shooters. You can only expect that the hype and player following of Destiny will eventually overshadow Dust.

CCP needs take better advantage of this Headstart before it gets to that point. More exposure, advertising, community events, consistent game updates and expansions and Dev Blogs are great ways to attract new players as well as keep the player base you already have from jumping ship to the other MMOFPS.

I don't see any promotions for this game either.

In the real world, a beta does not imply that the final product has undergone a feature-freeze. It means that a core set is laid out that needs a wider testing after having undergone Unit/Functional/Integration/Alpha testing sessions.
After this comes a Release Candidate and/or UAT.

So no - we're not supposed to be testing final features, nor bug-free code.

Hint: We dont even know what part of the stuff has reached Beta Test stage, and what parts are still in an earlier stage.

I have a feeling they're just waiting for the PS4...

Current 8 vs 8 corp battles are as laggy as they can be. Can you imagine 24 vs 24 or 32 vs 32 on bigger maps than we have now? Even public Skirmish matches are way too laggy.

hey ive contributed much more money into the development of this game than most have probably... and were not asking for all their deep dark secrets... we would just like an update every once in awile...

actually but i want to take it a step further and have the community work even closer with CCP about balance issue so we can get it right the first time. there has been many times where they have changed something and we dont like it so they waste even more time trying to change it again. i have spent money on this game as well and it scares me to see this game going no where so far.

The trolls say be patience, but the whole playstation base is about to start playing next-gen.

Plus it there is no roll-over on SP this will be the situation:
Random Guy: "OH! ps4 is coming out and im gonna play all day err day"
-fast foward a week-
Random Guy: "Hmm why should i play dust when im down a week in skill points, everyone is gonna be past me and in better gear....im done playing that incomplete game"

Is PS4 coming out next month? Last I checked, it was holiday season of 2013, lots of time. Not to mention that CCP stated their planned release date for summer 2013.

Also, I've mentioned in a previous post, which you've probably missed anyway, that Dust 514 is going to be on PS4. Please don't ever forget that.

I'd be happy to paste the quote from them. It's saved for just these occasions. I am sure the open beta testers would love to know that.

CCP is just farming money right now thats why there is no sense of urgency to actually deliver they game we are already paying for.

CCP doesn't communicate worth a **** about anything because they assume "their ideas" will work first time. How has that worked out in practice that last 12 monoths for dust? Sorry Ironwolf but ccp has made a miserable game and called it a beta to cover their ass on it.

Everyone of us play it to get sp and nothing else. If sp didn't have a cap I think most players would just leave and come back when this remotely looks like a real game.
