So, a couple of known issues regarding the latest update that we're either looking into or working on a fix for:
Matchmaking We're aware of the issues surrounding queue times and preferences for match types. We're looking to improve both over the next two days and we're looking at 48-72 hours for the changes to go live on TQ.
Only part of squad joins battles We're aware of the issue and we're working on a fix. Hoping to have this fixed within a week.
Domination on Ashland Null Cannon We're aware of the issues on Ashland on Domination where the null cannon is blocked, and as such is unable to attack either MCC, drawing out the match for a very long time. We're looking to have a fix out ASAP, likely downtime tomorrow (2013-09-04). We'll update when we have confirmed a fix.
Shotgun hit issues We're looking into it, but it's early testing days internally still. Will update as we get a chance to test, please keep sending in videos with the time that the incident occurred.
RDVs dropping vehicles from large hights We're aware of the issue, still determining the cause.

matchmaking is also throwing people into 10-16 vs 0 games
the "cannot join a squad in battle" bug is back for squads that arnt in battle (usually has had either someone dropped from squad or left game to initiate the bug) |

Thanks for looking into some of the issues plaguing this recent update. Also I would like to add, could you look at the circle button being mapped for cancel for the squad lead trying to join a battle? I've had several occasions where they accidentally press circle and it glitches them out of the would-be lobby. Also there seems to be a squad glitch that says some of the participants are in battle, when they are not (due to the glitch previously mentioned). Thanks for the hard work. |

I queued for minmatar faction warfare battles. It put me in a smelly amarr battle. Should this be expected? Or is this a vote as well? I could figure out ways to throw the battle and still lose, by putting uplinks in the wrong place, but I'd end up making less over the long haul, because I am so amazing an my team always wins (sarcasm). No but really, do I have to play for the Flascist Empire? |

Grenade hit detection is just as bad still, its only in certain areas but there are a lot of areas...... Grenades not registering is getting very expensive especially when they are cores. |

Amarr are not fascist, they are theocratic monarchy. Caldari is more fascist, especially considering many forms of fascism involve union of corporations with the state to manage sectors of the economy (not just about militaristic dictator police states). |

I was leading a small squad and queued us up for a battle. However, one of my squadmates didn't get into the match. We backed out of the match, but when I tried to re-queue us I got an error message saying that I couldn't join a squad already deployed. Everyone quit the squad, I reformed, sent invites, but one guy couldn't rejoin the squad because now he was getting an error message saying he couldn't join a squad already in battle. We repeated leaving, reforming, reinviting, but the same guy was getting the same message. We left squad again, but had a different guy reform the squad. We all got into the squad and I was handed lead, but when I queued us up I didn't enter the match when everyone else did. That's when I decided to log off for a bit. |

I noticed 2 issues:
On the new map, during skirmish match, there was this new socket (I think it's called Reactor Core) that had a marker for large turret buried in the ground beneath it and was completely invisible/inaccessible.
I joined a domination match that was just about to end, spent maybe 4-5 seconds in battle (didn't even have time to deploy). The battle ended by clone depletion and my team won. After the battle I received exactly 200k ISK reward and 0 SP (I hit my SP cap days ago). I doubt this is working as intended. |

I was sitting still in a tank firing at an enemy who was also sitting still.....only about 1 out of 5 blaster rounds hit the enemy merc. He wasnt even near an installation or anything. This is pretty game breaking here. Swarms are already DOUBLED in their damage per second and their range cap has been removed (WHY?!) so if a tank cant effectively defend itself against increasing odds, then it is a dark day indeed for tanks. Much darker than last night. Hopefully CCP can get a lock on these issues and get a hotfix underway. |

Ever since the uprising 1.4 started, my squad and I can't even squad up together and we check marked domination only but it took us to everything besides domination. Domination is the only mode that we,as a corp, like to play...so if it can't be fixed then we will have to find another game to keep us entertained. It's ridiculous because my wife and I have spent a lot of money on this game, along with our other members, and we can't even find one thing we like about the new 1.4. We all figured the problem with the taxis would be fixed so that u can't get out on the battlefield just to kill ppl by running them over. Murder by taxis is becoming a real problem because some ppl just come into battle to run ppl over the whole time! Hint of advice for those that get their kicks off of this...grab a weapon and try shooting someone instead of running ppl over like a girl! After all, this is a shooting game...or so I thought! Also, I requested a dropship and it dropped it from way up in the air and blew it up. When I finally did get my dropship, the view is of the roof and I can't even see where I'm going. |

On the above map there is an invisible box on the crows nest above alpha. Can you have a look at this at the same time as the null cannon

The invisible large turret was to the NW of the A flag just inside the structure.

I have another glitch or two to add. 1st <------------------ that guy moans in a very effeminate voice when shot at, it is incredibly disturbing. 2nd I cant think of a polite way to describe this and I will be posting a picture ASAP but in my merc quarters my bumcheeks glow as do my armpits. |

CCP please revert the ADS aiming on the mouse back to what it was. The fact that the sensitivity is the same for both hipfire and ADS makes it incredibly hard to do any fine aiming. I don't know who complained about this but I have no idea why it was changed. It was absolutely fine before.
This is one of my main gripes on top of the fact that auto-aim is absurd on the DS3. I understand that there must be a means to stay competitive between inputs, but the amount of assist is just too much. Tune the values down just a bit. Right now the aim assist will almost take complete control of the reticle in CQC. |

You probably want to note some of these things in the news feed when starting the game. Also, since 1.4's launch has been a disaster, *some* token from CCP would go a long way toward smoothing over a lot of angry players. |

CCP we need a test server so that these things don't happen again. Before you lock any patch content let us test it in a private server. You can get volunteers by asking with a thread in the forums. I suggest we take the Oceania server, which no one use, as the test server.

Had a few times where as squad leader, I wouldn't go into a match but everybody else would. Left squad, logged out, logged back in, and it seemed to fix the problem.
With that, still had the team chat tab, and logging out also got rid of that too. |

Dont think that would be too much of a problem for you flying round the redline crying about rail turrets.

Seriously, 7 Shots into the back of an Amarr Medium and it only takes his shields, CCP this is ridiculous, its worse than 1.3.

iv all ready sent a support ticket but the reply said to put it hre to, im freezing on the merc quarters, when I try to deploy the 2 countdown timers go out of sync and I get a message saying disconnecting due to internal error. then the ps3 bricks up and wont shut down, its happened a lot, iv only played 3 games. iv deleted the install data and re installed and its still happening |

I just got on the Forums because I got a personal email. Yep, personal. To me. My friend asked me to explain coding because how he understands it that an improved matchmaking system should work Exactly Freaking Backwards. I agree.
Let your hacks* contact me. I can teach them the basics. I am also really good at QA and making sure that QA doesn't just kiss the boss's ***** and not actually do their job.
Admittedly I am retired and am no longer burning with the desire to code for 12 hours a day for weeks on end. But I can teach others to How To Test A Conditional.

Non issue related feedback should go in this thread. There is also problems with team balance in matchmaking still. This time its more like 12 mercs, vs 4 mercs now. Since you keep people from joining current running games its hard to fill in those spots where players can have a full fledge 16 mercs vs 16 mercs. |

As with every build since Uprising started, random inconsistencies with passive scanning (still).
In some ways, less of an issue, because we're not missing the chance to give targeting data to teammates, but in others, MUCH worse, because we don't have the ability to use teammates' targeting data to fill in the gaps.
When I'm a Scout with a Precision Enhancer module, I shouldn't have a Heavy sneaking up to literally 2m (and sometimes less) without lighting up. And I've seen that multiple times now. It needs to be fixed to ACTUALLY WORK PROPERLY. Thanks, that would be much appreciated. |

Vehicle turrets now have widely ranging sensitivity between 3rd person view, 1st person view and zoom in when using mouse. 3rd person being alot faster than it used to be, input is also very inaccurate. 1st person being a wholeeee alot faster than it used to be, input is even more inaccurate. Zoom in is so slow that even a turtle could outrun my sight.
It all used to be very stable and slow, but not too slow. It was perfect in comparison to what it is now. |

I was not deployed into a battle with the rest of my squad mates. In other words it left me behind. We could no longer deploy as usual because of the deployed in battle bug. We all left the squad and did all the normal stuff you do to try to fix it. I was still on a team though. I could not leave the 2 teams I was in. Yes 2 teams that I was on. I quit the game and came back on and was still on a team. I turned off the ps3 for 30 minutes and came back on and was still on the team. I can't seem to do anything but switch characters and then I can play. Is this being looked into? |

After setting mouse sensitivity to 20 or below in Mouse/KB Options tab
It is impossible to move a croshair/weapon in any direction via mouse.

Aim assist is not assisting but doing it all. Matchmaking is a complete joke. The null canon hitting the pipes is just completely insane. Nobody actually test your guys stuff before releasing it I guess. Dropship camera is completely broken. Whoever thought this was a good view must of been the same guy that connected the pipes and left the null cannon.
Everything else from the new maps to the lighting on the dropships and the new menu is completely awesome. The game just seems polished more. I also see no problem with the aim assist being there but tone it down a little. I just don't get how sometimes games have something right and then in a sequel they completely change things and then things that were good are bad but they add tons of cool new stuff. I know this isn't a sequel but an update. It just doesn't make any sense to screw up something that works like the dropship view which might of not been perfect but it wasn't broken. I sure hope they get some of this fixed soon. I had to quit today because I couldn't take it much longer. |

First off, yes I read that with Professor Farnsworth's voice.
Secondly, I've read so many horrible things about the dropship that I'm scared to even spawn one. Is that camera action working as intended, or is there a fix in the works?
Third, I've found running around as a Logibro that life has become really crappy since the change with showing armor/shield bars. Is that a new "feature" or is there going to be a fix for this too?
Don't get me wrong, I love most of the other changes (not sure how I feel about the swarm launcher stuff yet - my dropships ALWAYS feel vulnerable and this will make that even worse). I'm sure the teams are working hard to resolve our issues.

the camara thing is pretty bad. but, I want to see how the infantry are rebalanced. 1.5 is supposed to fix vehicles. we should make a separate thread now for vehicle issue resulting from 1.4
but i want to see how improved infantry interctions are. |

To date, I've lost just on a million ISK for incorrect RDV deployments of Dropships.
The issue seems to occur with in a certain radius of socket points, ie: turrets. RDV flys in, parks it self at a guess 45 - 50 meters in the air over the turret, then moves it self away from the socket horizontally by about 5 meters and lets go of the cargo without adjusting its altitude after the adjustment... boom dead dropship.
However; that being said, I have parked my frame in the middle of a T-junction of a main road and other tarmac (btw the tarmac looks incredible) and had the issue again, it seems to be specific regions or locations as I replicated it twice and then learned my lesson...
I love the larger maps, the Larger map segregation as Domination, I loved running around with a full squad of KILL ORDERS with no reds so we could train on it before hand. I love this update, very very good work so far. |

I have been able to hot drop a full squad of six in with VERY FEW PROBLEMS, no how KILL ORDERS has found an effective deployment routine is to ask ALL SQUAD MEMBERS to make sure EVERY channel, every chat box, every fitting manager, anything that is on your screen HIDE IT, CLOSE IT. If you stand very very still, and everyone in squad doesn't have anything going on their screens, then you will find a 98% correct deployment, if ONE person has a screen open, then they will be DROPPED FROM MATCH.

I was able to find a skirmish battle only once. Takes forever to find something. Uneven teams, matches that end at the beginning, and everything that has been said here, i've seen it.
Did anyone else notice how laser rifles are killing just too fast? I feel like we are dying and killing a lot easier than yesterday, but laser rifles are OP right now.
The good stuff: Dropsuits look a lot better now. I just saw a guy charging his forge gun... the lighning is awesome. Graphics are looking great in general. I played an ambush (when looking for skirmish) in only 1 of the new maps, one with a huge interior. It's awesome, i'd really like to play a skirmish there.
I hope we can have Dust 514 back soon, i really want to play. |

You're missing something. CCP is testing the patch on their internal server. It is possible that a lot of stuff works different there because they have what? About 50 employees who can be online at the same time. |

Besides the known issues we have found a few other issues that I wanted to bring to your attention. Definitely not as important as the known issues at the beginning of this post.
Inertia Dropping out of MCC - I noticed multiple times this morning while playing that when jumping out of the MCC, out of a drop ship, or off of a high object (when given the option to use the inertia drop) that it doesn't always deploy. I thought at first this was a player error and perhaps I wasn't actually pressing the button. After multiple deaths of teammates and myself because of this I realized it wasn't just my stupidity. Whether I mashed the button, tapped it, or held it, it didn't make a difference. It deployed when it wanted, and when it didn't, my cloned aftermath was spread all over the ground.
Match Making -I understand this is a known issue, but my experience isn't that of the uneven battles, wrong matches, or the long wait times. I made a new clone this morning. Fresh out of the Battle Academy I decided to throw my new clone into a match. I thought to myself "perhaps the new match making will put me with players that are fresh out of the academy as well, or at least not into an absolute proto-stomp." I was wrong. Maybe I, like many others, misunderstood the new match making criteria. We were under the impression that players would now be put into matches with players around their same skill level. Whether this was based on skill points, war points, or whatever else would make sense. Apparently we were wrong. My first match was 12 on 12. All 12 of the players on my team were in militia to advanced gear, all 12 of the players on the other team were in advanced to proto gear. I have no problems going up against proto geared players, you win some you lose some, but for new players this could be a definite turn off to the game.
Grenades - Grenades in this game have been known to "dud" time and again. I'm not sure if its meant to be this way, as perhaps the factories producing these grenades have issues much like factories in real life. I've seen on many occasions red grenades sitting next to me causing me to flee instantly, only to have the grenade not blow up at all. This isn't a huge deal to me, but some players seem to feel it is. Wasting ISK, not getting their kill, whatever the reason.
Not seeing teammates HP - I myself play as a logi, noticing this morning that I couldn't always see the HP bars of my teammates, sometimes never.
Vehicle Hacking - Sometimes after hacking an enemy vehicle there is no option to jump into it. This happened to my squad, and myself multiple times today. Not any vehicle in specific, but all of them. One was a Viper, landed perfectly on the ground, full HP, hacked, could not enter. Another was some kind of LAV, same thing. Lastly a tank. Assuming the tank driver was new being that it was a Sica and the person jumped out of it after taking one swarm launcher. We killed him, hacked the tank and yet again no option to jump inside of the tank. I'm not sure if this was just a glitch in the specific match we were in, being that all instances happened in the same match.
Battle Finder - This is more of a "human error" issue than anything but I feel like it should be addressed. When queuing for a battle things seem to work just fine, but after you have queued pressing the circle button cancels the battle instead of just leaving the battle finder screen. I understand this is just complete stupidity on my part, and others, but maybe we could get this changed. Its quite a bother to have a squad leader accidentally hit a button then having the other players in his squad have to rush to cancel battle as well before they deploy. Not to mention with the current "Cannot join squad, Squad is already deployed" issues going on causing people to have to log-out and log back in to fix this seems to be a pretty annoying issue.

YAY! Just got back in game. I noticed a new problem with the match finder. If you de-select all 3 types, it will still try to put you in a match. In my case it tried skirmish (which i did NOT want) . I feel like this should throw an error or something to force you to choose at least one match type. |

Good news is the event limitation was corrected.

I usually snark to others that Angry Birds Awaits* but right now I might have to download that bunch of Kitten Squeezings. Nah, I have plenty of Steam games to play.

Hit detection on shotgun and sniper are broken. With sniper the opponent is literally standing still and the dot sight is orange on him. Pull the trigger and... Nothing. Also why are there no more orange dots on the map? Do we now have to use active scanners instead? Did they change the ARs? I get sliced to pieces almost instantly now against ARs. Really disappointed with this patch. I love the game but all together it' s nearly unbearable now. Also very disappointed with selection of game types. If I want to play skirmish, then I want skirmish, not Ambush. |

Thanks for the hard work. I said several times yesterday that you guys would get a fix in ASAP, so great job!!
On a side note; there seems to be a glitch that happens when people shoot at me. I take damage then die. Could you check into this and see if there is something that can be done? I would appreciate a hotfix in the next update if possible. Disabling weapons that are looking at me would be the best bet.

I really, really would like the ability to revert the camera and control the turret on my assault dropship. Also it could just be the new camera but it feels sluggish and unresponsive and the turrets restricted a lot.
Render distances are a bit inconsistent with my tank occasionally showing across the map and other times not reaching 200 meters. My assault dropship is the same when it comes to infantry not rendering over 25 or 40 meters even when I am using my active scanner. More than anything this would be great to have fixed.
The update is awesome outside of that. |

We see and voice the issues so that you can continue to improve upon it. These should be priorities The Battle finder has to come back this voting thing is useless and not what we want. We want to be able to choose battle type period and have lots of selections. We want to be able to bring 2 squads into 1 battle or even a whole team side like a corp match We want Ambush and Ambush OMS selections. So far these are the bugs I have found with the new update.
Battle finder:- The obvious 1s with the Battle finder,. To get a skirmish match I have found I need to have Domination ticked and the other 2 types unselected. I have also been completely unable to start any kind of factional battle since the patch.
Voice chat bug:- Another problem I experienced with the battle finder yesterday was linked to voice chat. I had been trying to get into a skirmish match and kept getting ambush instead which I would leave immediately, after this happened 2 or 3 times I put the selector back to all 3 ticked but I found I had someone talking to me on voice chat and I had a "team" chat channel, the person I was talking to was also in a battle while I was still on the battle finder which refused to let me queue for any new battles. I quit the game and re logged in 3 times only to find each time that I was still in the "team" chat channel and unable to queue for a battle. I re logged to my other characters and then back again and was still in the "team" chat channel, the only way I was able to leave the channel was by switching to power off to my PS3 and waiting 10 seconds before re starting it. Shortly before this started I had received notification messages that my voice chat had been disconnected and then re connected.
Stuck in a watchtower wall:- On one occasion I climbed up into 1 of the small watch towers to see if it gave a good sniper perch, I crouched and moved sideways into the corner and then found I was stuck in the wall and unable to stand or move beyond turning on the spot. My only way out was to suicide.
Sniper issues:- A problem I had with sniping was at close range trying to snap scope a figure I spotted, not knowing if they were friend or foe, the targeting dot did not change to orange and I could not see any health bars, my hesitation in firing cost me a clone because I did not know whether to pull the trigger or not. Nanohives turning into a glowing beacon when viewed at range through a sniper scope has still not been fixed, it still makes it very difficult to target anyone in or behind the dome of glare it appears as.
Lag?... :- Just before downtime today I started having trouble with remote explosives not appearing in my hand and not deploying, after this happened I tried using my assault rifle only to find that holding the trigger down did not use any ammo until I released it at which time a single round would be used up, I did not have time to find out if I was actually shooting bullets or it would have got me killed because it was really not firing anything, before the match ended.
Turrets:- I have twice had a problem with shooting drop ships from a rail gun turret, on both occasions I did major damage to the drop ships, the second time I saw it go down in flames and crash from my final hit but on neither occasion did I get any war points for destruction or assisting the kill. On several occasions I have also found turret markers for un-hacked turrets o the map and in my HUD which do not have any actual turret of any kind when you get there.
Map Scrolling:- The map no longer snaps to your spawn point, in fact it is no longer possible to navigate the map properly at all as it does not scroll properly, often it will only scroll horizontally but not vertically and vice-verse depending on the map and my teams MCC is always obscured by the player list etc. on the left side of the screen. I was a turret gunner in a tank yesterday which somehow managed to blow itself up while not being attacked by anybody. I think it rolled over or something, the driver was maneuvering it over a small mound to try and get a better angle with his gun when suddenly it exploded, with full shields & armor, and all 3 occupants "suicided", myself included.
There are more but I can't remember them right now, I'm sure the game will remind me soon enough though. |

Only have played a few matches since 1.4 -- however, I did determine that you can, in fact, choose what type of battle you wish to join. In battle selection screen you can opt to not look for any or all of the modes. For me, "R" on keyboard brings up that option. |

not their exact words but ill have to find it, so im not surprised if we get bugs for this week, but at least next week everything should be working. we go through this every new build. |

Not gonna say shotguns or nova knives or dropship view but here's a good one. If you die in a vehicle it counts as two (2) deaths... That one was pretty interesting.
Credit for working hard and working fast on the fixes CCP.
Edit: This has only been confirmed with ground vehicles. Not with dropships yet... as if I'd actually kill myself to prove a point. Heh |

With today's patchto patch 1.4 the hipfire has gone to shi**, yesterday my scram was nailin raspberries so hard, now.. not as much (obviously in CQGÇÖs) Working as intended or something else?
Btw, you're really smart guys the matchmaking doesn't let you get in with a team cuz of balance.. but to be fair, CCP should have put team queue for team matches only, some way to leave all the "teammates" pits against other "teammates" despite their level or whatever the mmking is checking. |

Yesterday, it was completely aimbot-like in the sense that I would received every bullet from an enemy's clip regardless if I was sprinting away at over 9m/s towards the nearest cover. Honestly, if that doesn't get fixed, my knifing profession is practically finished. |

There are a lot of us thankful for the fast deployment of these patches being done so quickly, and honestly if we have a few problems "it is the responsibility of us players to inform CCP not cry and scream like babies".

Only way to OHK now is to pin someone against a wall.
Anything else does damage, going above 60mph reduces your manouverability, making LAVs easier to dodge. |

to me the best thing about this patch is corp tax. it only makes sense because i'm a proud ceo of 91st clan we accept all applications. apply if you need a corp. :) ccp needs to also fix the part where dust freezes my system. i know DUST 514 has greater potential then cod. |

give them time to finish working on the hit detection and latency.
right now they will be implementing hotfixes to fix latency, and hit detection. hit detection did infact improve.
1.5 will rebalance dropships so i think the dropship camara will be fixed then. until then its not that bad, you can stil see 70% of the ship.
1.6 will be a big patch that will sort out all remaining issues. every patch the big to the small is getting fixed. |

i know you guys have a lot on your hands. but this update has really set me back, in a couple different areas. now the lav is slowed way down from little bumps, wont go up same hills it used to, pretty much all the off road handling is messed with. i cant get away from people or missles, not to mention its a lot harder to run someone over. i bought the elite pack for the lav, because i am a heavy an am too slow otherwise. second, now the heavy gun wont fire as long before it overheats, an that's what hmg's are about, a steady stream of continuous fire. an supposedly its more accurate, but i wouldn't make that trade. i miss my lav and awesome heavy |

I realized that updating the shield and armor are very weak, any shots received the damage suffered is very high. My prototype is no longer as effective as before, what good I have released her skills if she became weak. An adversary with dropsuit micitia thing kills me easily before q was not so easy to occur. So I'm not using it but since this is not worth apena play with her. Well now with a militia dropsuit can play at the same level of dropsuit prototype .. This is an observation of me and some friends playing the game. Before this update'd spend the day and night playing straight. After she ate kind of lost the taste to play. Good look hope this observation I made. I think that Dust 514 is the best MMORPG that currently exists. Play the game since he was in beta until I quit the games that had so mededicar to him (Dust 514). I hope the game again be as addictive as before!

I probably found a new bug: if on a match I salvage a weapon, when I later check "last battle" status, the salvage is "undefined". Of course, I didn't start a new battle.
Another thing which I couldn't understand: I was using a turret and I pressed L2. It showed the menu to give orders (I was the Squad Leader) and I used the Conquer voice when pointing the OBJ. Nothing happened, but since then I kept seeing a square appearing over most objects, including turrets and ally units. I couldn't find a way to remove such thing, and it kept working for following matches after that one. |

BUG- Unable to see HP of team mate that you are currently locked onto and repairing with the Rep Tool. Only happens in some instances (often after a needle pick up).
Triage points are still popping up so you have to use this info to know if the team mate needs reps/when to stop. BUT... then you hit the rep cap and you're screwed.

Bump. I completely agree. CCP has just made being a logi way more difficult with the repper. Its incredibly difficult to determine who needs repairing due to the in game player tag change and the aiming is still a complete pain in the azz. Its bad enough that the game is directed toward the KDR which really doesnt apply for logibros, but now it seems like they just dont want us to do our job at all. |

I hope you guuys are on it cuz thats a real deal breaker when it comes to this game being fun...soooo sick of "leaving squad" invite to squad and create squad....all damn day today. Last week I popped my cap first day by 7pm......im only 40 % there right now thats saying to me that this game is aking more than 2x as long to actually pull out a match... |

Someone reported this in the bugs/tech support section. I hope this is a a mistake and not a design decision because this was a MAJOR convenience feature. |

A few other issues -
Indestructible BPO LAV: In one match today (Sept 5th) a red LAV was indestructible to swarms fired by at least two people. Later rammed a HAVs inflicting a little damage while taking none back.
Charged Sniper Rifle: Two guys reported that Sept 2nd with stacked damage mods was killing fine, now the weapon only does small damage. Although they like the farther range on the rendering.
Militia Rifle out preforming the Dv AR: Several guys today (Sept 5th) have commented about being able to get more kills using the Militia over the proto. |

Another weird thing happened to me yesterday: I was shooting against some enemies, and then I threw them a grenade. Now, when I switched back to the assault rifle (militia), even if the counter said "9 bullets left", I couldn't fire the last shots. I'm not sure, but I think I was trying to reload as well but it wasn't working either. |

IDK if this is a new issue or not as I only had remote explosives a few days before the update but I did not see this before it. When I deploy a remote explosive at an objective it will slide about on the floor and come to a stop a couple of meters away from where I placed it, usually outside the sides of the objective with a shield between it and the console where my target will be shielded from the blast.

I also got an inactivity warning while sniping, it threatened to kick me from the game because I spent too long looking through the scope.
And I still do not see anything in the "known issues" about the phantom "Team" chat channel I have found myself stuck in on 2 occasions after quitting a battle, once solo and once a whole squad got bugged with it, we all had to restart our PS3s as just quitting the game and re starting does not disconnect you from the channel, it is still there when you log back in and you are unable to start any battles because of it |

Swarm launchers are still launching a phantom swarm when your target is destroyed. Yes agree and bump.

Great update over all CCP. Love the new laser rifles, what you did with the scanners is amazing as well as the new efficiency rating read out; however as a support person its kind of a pain to have to stop healing my team mate to see how much hp he has. I don't know about the dropship issues, but I have noticed the turrets underground on the new maps but I just wrote them off as another glitch (like the one where you would switch to your secondary but your hands would be like they were holding the primary. It's hilarious don't fix that it makes my days complete lol.) New maps are great really huge too. Don't like the part about the market where you guys took away the part where you could upgrade skills from the market. The inactivity warnings come up a bit to soon. Soooo glad you fixed the battle finder, but sometimes I would still get the squad tab on my social stuff on the right side of my screen and I wouldn't be able to get in battles or join squads and I would have to log out or quit game to fix it. Also if you guys decided to nerf the feedback damage on the laser rifles that would be great but it's what ever concerning that. Also, the new updates screen is beautiful and love the new skill bonus.
Overall great update love what you guys have done, but it has its minor issues as a programmer, Idk how you guys program or organize but, it should be pretty simple to fix all the minor things that I've encountered. I can't wait to see what you guys are gonna do next seems like your getting used to the fpsmmo game types finally. |

Try making sure that everyone in your squad has all Neocon and Chat windows closed prior to the leader selecting a battle.
Seemed to work well for the squad I was in yesterday. Nobody was left behind once we started doing this. |

The special effect for active modules on Gallente dropships extend forward beyond the shape of the dropship. Might also be the case for the Caldari ones also. Sometimes the visual effect stays on after the module is deactivated. |

My novaknives stopped working on a perfectly flanked heavy. He was in my optimal range and my knives wouldn't swing. Of course this cost me my clone. In the same game I flanked another guy, missed with the nks and he began to move around and spraying like a lunatic and of course I lost a clone. You call that skill? |

If I use the dualshock to choose equipment and switch to the mouse my clone will look up(equipment selection with the mouse isn't good enough yet). I use the dualshock for movement and the mouse for the rest with keys mapped to the mouse buttons(bluetooth keyboard is connected but is only for typing).
The DS3 right analog stick will be back to center before I touch the mouse.
This did not happen in any build before 1.4. |

Now that people have brought it up I've also had the issue where leaving a dropship causes suicide. But in most cases my dropship was safely on the ground, sometimes touching a wall for visual cover. Not only this, but this happened for me immediately before 1.4, and I haven't tried to replicate this since. Not that I'd want to kill myself just to prove a point. Heh
Another issue. Not a bug but an intended feature. I've been told that if you're in a tank right... and you aim your main turret behind you and hit start "you'll get a surprise from CCP. check it out"
They told me the surprise and man such a sweet one. I haven't tried to replicate this either. As if I'd want to kill myself just to prove a point, especially with the current bug where dying in a vehicle displays and records two deaths. And then on top of that I'm not wasting isk on a soma I won't use in any productive way besides killing myself to prove a point. Heh |

Absol-Fricking-lutely. I run with my Advanced Amarr Basic class, 471 Shield, 405 armor. Militia Assualt Rifle kills me in 20 bullets, however the firerate on the damn Assault Rifle for this gun in ridculous, at 12.5 rounds per second, and 34 damage per shout. It can do 400 damage in 1 second. My proto Duvolle seems to do WAY! less damage than that. I have stand and aim forever at targets. I also have Assault Rifle Dispersion at level 2, so I should be hitting targets dead on, but still no kill. No idea what to do, since I don't want anything to get nerfed, but honestly this ridiculous....I may say this though because I don't want to have wasted all the SP, so I'm biased....But yes, I have experienced this |

That would be heavenly. The Commando is so outclassed right now. Honestly, I thought a Commando would be almost like an Officer suit, capable of leading the men around him/her into battle with their array weapons. I have yet to see a proto Commando in this game. CCP, can you also design a Dropsuit that can have dual SMGs or Scrambler Pistols. You fire each one with L1 or R1, like in COD, but if you want to put one away, you hit R2 and L2. |

I have and continue to experience the following:
Getting a ton of "Scotty the AI" has failed to connect your match. Occurs roughly 30-50% of the time, I attempt to enter a match. 1/3 of the time, squad member unable to enter match. Huge lag spikes are more common, lagging everyone in the match (both teams). Occur 1/10 matches? Freezes for about ten seconds then returns to normal.
Get stuck often when dropping out of a HAV or LAV and driver drives forward. You come out in front of the vehicle and it pushes you forward. You get stuck and unable to move. You are unable to move sideways and get away from vehicle.
So 1.4 hates squads.

There is no need to restart if scotty doesn't put you in with your squad. Next deployment close the chat window before the match is launched and you will get in just fine without leaving squad or restarting.....this works. |

No problem seeing it, check that you are aiming at your battle buddy. Vision is limited to range, if you can't use it at that range you probably won't see it. Switch to your AR/Sniper/MD/Scrambler to find their health, if you are at range so that you can't use your rep tool you need protection from enemies while you jog across the map anyways. |

OMG.. Isn't that normal that with 4 complex light damager and the perfect distance you kill someone with any weapon fast? (it's what I put on my laser rifle) It's far from being OP. The AR is way much powerful at short and mid range. |

Has anyone else noticed the strange coloured x's that float around above and in front of forgegunners? I noticed that these appeared from the gunners view when I pulled out my forgegun on a match, it looks like some kind of coding/character hitbox values/calibration that didn't get blended, or some strand of coding that's flapping loose. The best description I can give is 2-5 objects in the shape of X's randomly moving in a rapid, choppy manner, they are coloured with base coulours (blue green and red are all I can remember). They float in a cloud about a foot-4 feet above and one foot in front of the character and can be seen even when the character is is behind cover (I've tracked a dozen heavies like this already). So far i have not hear anyone say anything about this though, am I the only one seeing this? |

So, one pretty big bug comes with rendering the icons for players. Friend or foe.
It's most noticable at high speeds and distances (AKA dropship, but possible to notice in LAV, perhaps even ground sometimes!)
The issue is with not keeping those icons updated. For example. I am flying. I see a red to target. I approach the icon. At some Random point between being Far Away, and being a centimeter away from where the icon is at, it will update... revealing that there is in fact nobody there. And nobody has been there for some time because the nearest enemy is perhaps 100's of feet away or more.
TL;DR.
Player icons are getting stuck / hanging in positions when the player is moving or has moved past them |

I have observed that player names and health bars dont immediately go up when I scope to them from my Sniper. They are fairly close so distance doesn't seem to be the problem. I am not sure if I am the only one experiencing this anomally.
Is there really a delay? Or is it something that should be looked into?
P.S.: The delay seems to be more of a "reboot". What I mean by this is that I have to rescope once or twice to get their health bars and names up. |

I've been saying this about the standard Scrambler Rifle for a while now. I fire that thing pretty fast, it also seems to jam followed by charging. Is it being looked into? |

Having issues with mouse when controlling Dropships. Vertical view is inverted, while sensitivity is over nine thousand. All of the settings are pre-1.4 and haven't been changed, other than toning down mouse sensitivity. Dualshock and mouse in every other field works fine.
Remote repair modules reset the camera to pre-1.4 when equipped for both LAVs and Dropships. |

People who cry about these OP weapons and weapons being OP don't just stand there thinking you can go toe to toe. 1.4 has shown and fixed these weapon pro's and con's, eg i won't go toe to toe against HMG's will my AR anymore coz if the HMG operator knows what is doing im ******, i now stay out of lasers sweat spot because it never works in my favour, however the weapon i find 'OP' most of all is the scrambler rifle lol long to mid range (with a competent operator terrifies me) close tho can be its down fall.
CCP keep up the good work with the weapon balance...

Some info in case it helps.
Last night just after DT the not deploying bug was happening alot to me. Usually I rarely experience it. I was not the squad leader.
Now it just so happens that I was also experiencing pretty terribly lag (someone was using the internet at the time). I did a few ping tests and had an average of about 500ms to the battle servers (this is from memory...).
A little later on in the night I had the internet to myself and I didn't see the bug. Although my squad was doing more FW battles and instant.

So a few things are not working anymore that does not appear to be covered by are LogiBro. Here they are
1. Sniper scope with mouse, appears to move when you fire automatically?? I know I dont move the crossheirs but they move when trigger is pulled via mouse. Never happened before the patch. 2. Mouse keyboard to ps3 controller and back again. If you are like me and like to use mouse sometimes and keyboard/mouse others you NO longer can just use both, back and forth they "glitch" eachother causing issue. sometimes My character will start to move his view "his" direction and not where I am trying to look, sometimes the ps3 controller will just not respond until I hit menu and come back to game. Never happened before the patch. 3. Aim assist using the mouse, does nothing. There is NO aim assist like there is with a ps3 controller, not actually sure thats a glitch maybe that is the way its supposed to be so possibly not an issue, to me I would like to see aim assist on all devices. 4. Hit detection on long range weapons (not including sniper , which makes sense because that would be rediculous) has improved, but knives, shotguns anything up close seems to lose that control to the point where my screen will move "away" from the target on its own, I dont get a choice in the matter "it" chooses to move the aim someplace else.

Squad Deploy WORKAROUND
Get everyone in squad to go to fittings and load up a fitting, all squad members should stay on the fitting screen while squad leader deploys, DO NOT PRESS CIRCLE. We had 9/10 successful deployments, with the one failure being when someone was AFK.
Test it, let me know if it works, or call bullshit!
It's confirmed. We've had over 40 successful deploys. Not sure what it's related to, but it works. |

When you die - from then on and through out the match, the death/spawn screen 'music' continues to play, it's fine I guess and I could probably turn it off but it's just not right.

I would like to add the fact that the corporate master wallet is useless now since it fills up with tax from each battle. We can't see past a couple hours. It needs to be fixed so you can see what's happening in the wallet.
I would recommend maybe another wallet for mercenary battle tax income that gets rolled up with each days income into one line item at the end of the day and transferred into the master wallet.

1.4 is great except for the horrible glitches. Can't jam without someone getting glitched out. There are too many times when it won't let you spawn back into battle and the game threatens to call the space police on ya because it thinks you're MCC camping. The game is way too glitchy to have that attitude with players.
Also, next time you have an event and promise prizes, don't give the lame version of the prize. I believed I was getting the cool black and red Neo Commando Suit. I got the lame blue one. You might as well not have the events at all.
I can only defend the game so much. Taking care of glitches immediately should be a priority. And let's loose the attitude please.
I love the concept and ideas of Dust 514. I'm getting everyone I know to play it. Love it.

came across a bug while calling in an orbital. I pressed triangle right after I selected the option to bring up the precision strike. After I dropped it, I was stuck in the animation of having the left arm up with holograph. I could not do anything about it. Whenever I pressed R1, I would bring up the map in again to call in a strike but nothing else. I couldn't enter vehicles, swap weapons, hack...I ended up just hiding for what was left of the match. |

this happened to me last night, pretty intense running into the fire fight after dropping it only to realise that I couldn't engage the opposite team, turned tail and bailed out of there with my ass being shot off ... according to my squad mates I was looking at my watch telling the time as three heavies came round the corner, funny stuff. |

Has anyone else encountered this....When running an active scanner, sometimes switching from your scanner (post-scan) back to weapon, you instead pull out a funky weapon/scanner hybrid weapon? Somehow the game combines the two objects into one, It still fires but the ADS is non-functional. Has happened 15+ times since 1.4 came out.
On an unrelated note, is there any discussions about how or if active scanners will ever produce "assist" points? Like the UAV/Counter-UAV from C.O.D. |

Equipment "delay" with RE's and Nanite Injectors. I opened a post over this when it was introduced in 1.3. They said they were working on it and have since went completely silent. I have updated my post even shamelessly bumping my own post for over a MONTH now and not one single word on when this will be addressed. Not really hopeful since you don't even mention it in the problems that need fixing.
So, problem get's introduced in 1.3, I open a forum post in feedback, many others notice and post as well to confirm. Dev asks about it, then said Dev confirms they see the problem. Then nothing for five-six weeks now even though I have now shifted from politely asking for any update to being absolutely annoying, which is not what I want to be.
So, can I get an update please? I have tried asking nice before but that didn't get me anywhere so.........
I don't want to be a d!ck but wtf guys? I don't even care that you guys keep making problems at a rate faster than you fix them, but to just ignore a problem until it goes away is sh*t support and not acceptable. |

Vehicle passengers cannot look around unless they are on a turret.
Players are now anchored to the ground after using inertial dampeners. I don't care if I can't fire but I want to be able to move. I also would like to be able to activate the dampeners from any fall over jump height(sneaking a request in).
Also this which affects very few players but it was introduced in 1.4. |

You are not allowed to move when hitting the ground it was a bug and was fixed appropriately. The first one though is a concern and should be fixed. "Vehicle passengers cannon look around unless they are on a turret". |

I can not stand this laser gun, Very apelona now was impossible to walk on the map because of this wretched weapon. Was too fond of this game, but after this last update this game so me rage. This game for me, already gave what he had to give unfortunately. Everyone using this laser gun now. Can not move now on this map, this weapon takes the courage of those who play. I increasingly losing their taste for the game. I had the goal of reaching 100 among players with more numbers to kill, to kill approximately 38,600, approximately 140 in rank. Because of this laser'm losing the will to play, impossible to play!. This there I going behind the enemy base suddenly I come across a guy laser. What to do? and to die or run and die?, joke right?. I 320 with a shield, and armor of 410 not one second hard against this coward who is arming the laser. further on a giant map of that. Falling on a match, 3 vs. 9, no chance to play against 3 9 kidding right! Unfortunately is take courage. I do not know how long I'll hold out to play that way, my colleagues corporation every day are abandoned the game. That disheartening. I hate that laser gun! Look I'm not one to complain about things but without comments .. |

On occasion I am unable to sprint. I have full stamina. I need to change to equipment, then back to weapon, then to another piece of equipment in order to be able to sprint again when this happens. I'm not 100% certain as this happens very rarely but I believe it's if I sprint while holding the scanner then quick switch to my weapon(Minmatar Logistics proto suit, CreoDron Quantum Active Scanner, and Freedom Mass Driver). |

Have you tried a different controller? The button might be dyeing.
