Dropship camera change is basically a nerf; though one assault dropship player did like it. Make it an option only, or something you cycle through like the first person view.

EDIT: Hit decteion for vehicle blasters is TERRIBLE. Vehicle blaster hit detection has always been horible for me. I was sitting still in a tank firing at an enemy who was also sitting still.....only about 1 out of 5 blaster rounds hit the enemy merc. He wasnt even near an installation or anything. This is pretty game breaking here. Swarms are already DOUBLED in their damage per second and their range cap has been removed (WHY?!) so if a tank cant effectively defend itself against increasing odds, then it is a dark day indeed for tanks. Much darker than last night. Hopefully CCP can get a lock on these issues and get a hotfix underway.

Or the DS camera change. But honestly, it could also have been avoided if anyone had play tested them at all. Which apparently they did not because armor dropships have a pretty sillly looking bug when it comes to the shield effect trying to apply itself all around...

Yep. small blaster turrets died this patch. 100% broken, can't hit stationary targets. |

So, one pretty big bug comes with rendering the icons for players. Friend or foe.
It's most noticable at high speeds and distances (AKA dropship, but possible to notice in LAV, perhaps even ground sometimes!)
The issue is with not keeping those icons updated. For example. I am flying. I see a red to target. I approach the icon. At some Random point between being Far Away, and being a centimeter away from where the icon is at, it will update... revealing that there is in fact nobody there. And nobody has been there for some time because the nearest enemy is perhaps 100's of feet away or more.
TL;DR.
Player icons are getting stuck / hanging in positions when the player is moving or has moved past them |
