I like the replant idea. I see no reason why a half used NH or DU should be useless once it falls behind a tactical position. Scoop up that 3-uses-left DU and throw it a second time... There IS a way to differentiate between the two NH varieties....

Agree. One caveat is that players should be able to use inertia dampeners from any height so they don't get reamed to 0% shields just for getting ejected (should already be like that anyways). Pilots still need some kind of WP for troop transport...
