As a female gamer, if there's ever an option for a female character, I take it (gotta represent!)
However, as a heavy, there's no difference between the male and female suits. This is extremely upsetting!!! There's a female character in every suit except the heavy! Why should my boobs be left out when everyone else's are clearly visible?
I realize that some excuse might be 'well the suit itself is big so your **** wouldn't show anyway.' I have no problem with the way the suit looks, except that I have no boobs; and I suppose that PERHAPS it would save time/money/whatever to have both the male heavy and female heavy look the same...
BUT I WANT MY BOOBS!!!! |

i pray this isnt serious....
but in the happening that it is, here is the simple reason you dont see your boobs: they're covered in a bout an inch thick of armor plating.
believe me the lady heavies still have their curves, but you wont notice boobage because of that huge amount of armor

'Lady heavies' have the same curves as dude heavies. It doesn't even have to be a drastic change. They're EXACTLY the same, and i'd like a difference between the two. |

I like how everyone instantly assumes trolling...
Anyway to the point: Even IF the "boobs" are covered in armour plating it doesn't matter, have you read The Princess and the Pea? If not then the story is that a pea is felt even underneath several mattresses because the princess is used to the finer things.
Same principle here x 1000
Boobs can be huge but if we say this is an athletic space marine she may come in at around A, B or C cup. Even by forming an inch of armour plating over the top you would still have the "bumps". |

I'm sorry to inform you that if a female where to don a suit of armor, the suit would retain it's shape. Unless your boobs can reshape metal? |

But what the hell.
It's a suit covered in armor plates. Your body shape wouldn't make much of an impression under all that plating. |

On a more serious note, I don't think the male Minmatar Logistics suit model accurately portrays a package of the size I am used to. Needs a buff. |

I'm not trolling, btw... I really do want the female heavy to have boobs. The kind of girl who would be big enough to don a heavy suit of armor would have a larger body overall, including her bust.
Why can't Bertha have boobs? Seriously? I realize it's just an aesthetic, but you gotta represent the female heavy.

Armour is usually form fitted and so any bumps or indentations will actually become more severe the thicker the fitted suit is. What you are suggesting means that female armour would be weaker in the chest to accommodate the breasts. |

Seriously, two boob threads in as many days? Boobs do not belong on armor. "I know, let's put a groove in the chestplate of our armor that will direct bullets right into your heart" said no armor designer ever. |

Haha, well the female heavy does have the female gait, (gait = stride) watch the hands. But I only notice this when walking. Anyways there are many posts that tell you that breasts wouldn't make a difference in shape. This is half truth. I'll have to go a bit off topic to answer.
In real life when women wear body armor, depending on the size of the breasts, there is a slight increase in width across the chest overall. Even though they are pressed and flattened from the pressure of the weight of the armor plates. However I've only seen 1"max armor plates used, and considering the thickness of a heavy suit, it might hide it altogether.
No "boob" shape would be apparent.
Hmm can female clones even give birth? Other than aesthetics there would be no need for female clones to have boobs.. Unless they can, which means they would menstruating and all hormonal lol |

There's no reason not to have a bulge across the chest to accomodate different genders, but individual boob socks look ********. No cleavage on armor. |

The Amarr culture is heavily based on religious extremism.
Allowing females to flaunt their femininity is rarely a popular suggestion in such groups.

Okay, fine. Since so many of you are against boobs (and only God knows why, boobs are fantastic) lets just get rid of all of them. Apparently armor and such would flatten them out and make them nonexistent (have you ever tried to squish your boobs flat? it hurts.) so lets just get rid of all the boobs all together. No scout boobs, no Logi boobs, no Assault boobs.
That would make me feel better, too. |

lady that is a rather harsh generalization.
i'm not against it, but each suit WILL reflect the culture that made them, the point about flaunting the sexuality is like... think of how the CHristian and Muslim ideals are about women's modesty.
as for the others.... Caldari don't give two cracks about comfort, so i'm not surprised if their suits squish boobs.
Minmatar focus on functionality, not prettiness.
Gallente is a little mroe open, so they might have the most show.
all i can ask is that you let the Devs focus on the core mechanics instead of worrying about breasts showing up, please? |

Consider this:
The current heavy suit is Amarrian. Amarr are the space church, so naturally their heavies are a bit like robes; they hide the body.
You should ask for a Gallente heavy suit instead; organic curves are an integral part of Gallente design and they value individuality. |
