The problem is the fuse on grenades is too long for the pathetic damage they do, so people use REs instead. EDIT: Oh, and their crap capacity too.

The fuses are way too long to remove cooking. If I couldn't throw a locus grenade, die, respawn, and then see my own grenade explode (basically), then you might have a case, but until the fuses are shortened to 3 seconds or less, no.
