Why isn't melee just another "weapon" you can switch to? Then you aim at the target and hit "R1" to clobber them?

I was also wondering whether it would be sensible to restrict 1.0 sec battles to NPC corps only, but eventually decided against it as it goes against my "discourage rather than prohibit" philosophy.

Better long term solution? Everyone gains 1.3 "potential" SP per second, every second, and WP gained convert those to actual SP for spending on skills. More details in feedback/requests where it belongs.

Today in a public Skirmish map I spawned in the middle of nowhere, so far into the redzone that I couldn't see anything that wasn't redzone. Obviously I died. After that I respawned into the battle just fine.
