I love them. I've been running various dual scrambler pistol fits on an advanced scout since the event started. I've had so much fun in the fit, I continued to use it well beyond the 750 kills.

The ScR, unlike most other weapons, takes a long time to become proficient in because you have to gain a feel for the overheat mechanic. In the right hands and against shield tanked suits, however, it can be quite beastly.

The OP is dead on correct, IMO. It's the Alpha and the relative silence of the Bolt that makes it as deadly as it is when compared to other sidearms. That said, I find the Bolt Pistol fairly easy to defeat in CQC. It's when it catches me unaware...

Most good users of the cloak use it to approach their target from behind, and the cloak delay will not really help in this regard. IMO it won't be enough to simply add a delay.

I think that they should somehow move the slayers -- up front, in your face -- from the scout suits and into assault suits. The sneaky pre-1.8 scout playstyle needs to remain viable though. There are simply too many slayers in scout suits at the...
