Many of the best "killers" just whine and cry about vehicles and turrets and leave when they see them. As for the rare few that do have a 10+ KDR and don't quit every time they see a tank, well... they can't be everywhere at once, can they?

When they fix the hit distance and the knifing speed/response it may get easier, but right now if you get the drop on someone just shoot them in the head. A damage buff on a back stab isn't currently applied, but should be, IMO.

I like this idea, but I don't think it would be too popular. It would add to the tension and be sort of fun to hunt for that last dude, but there's too much potential for the other teams last survivor to just hide for 10 minutes dragging the game ...
