You still haven't answered why WP is not a perfectly round measure. It's the only thing that accurately shows how much you are actually capable of in the game. SP is simply a measure of gear, not ability nor experience.

In b4 tankers accusing OP of sucking at EZ mode AV. You should just flat out not be able to recall a damaged vehicle. Maybe not make it to entirely undamaged but at least 50% total hp (not just armor because that favours shield tanks).
