If your generally bored of the AR and SCR, I'd suggest trying out the mass driver. I've been an AR user almost exclusively for about a year now... and it got really boring. But the MD is actually fun to use and brought some new life into the game ...

MD is certainly not OP. I would never in a million years consider using it in a competitive match over my AR. It's a fun weapon, but AR beats it in terms of effectiveness in almost every way imaginable.

Uplinks work fine for me in the MCC, and is a great way to farm some WP while AFK. Heck, one time I got third place on my team from the uplink WP I got while I AFKed Uplinks work the best when the team is redlined.
