Let's consider the role of drones. In EVE the primary role of combat drones is to allow larger ships to engage ships that are too small for their turrets to track. This role doesn't really exist for infantry, they're the smallest thing out there....

You might be comparing different game types. Did you snipe in Skirmish and logi in Ambush? Because ambush games, being shorter (time in game is a factor in SP earning) you earn less SP than Skirmish games, even if you came out of it with the same ...

Dropsuits have "active mods" in the form of equipment, and I doubt they'll ever have capacitor. It's just not feasible to implement for infantry. Can't wait until we get it on vehicles, though.

I remember that thread. No one agreed with you. We agreed that we'd be willing to accept swarms being faster than dropships IF countermeasures were implemented, not that that is the only or best solution.

Spend your SP on skills that grant passive improvements, rather than on ones that unlock new gear. You can get almost as much mileage out of T1 gear with good skills as with proto gear and no skills other than the unlock.

I always thought it was weird that they went with "standard"/"advanced"/"Proto" for DUST when there's a system in place of "T1"/"Named"/"T2" that they could use. I like that they kept officer mods working more-or-less the same, though.

It's really not. It reduces HAVs to being used only in corp battles, since it would require something like five people to drive. That also means that two extra people are removed from infantry roles where they might be protecting the HAV from AV. ...
