Get those Armour modules off a shield based suit anyway, use regulators if anything, take advantage of the bonus.

regulators leave no room for equipment and CPU modules are mandatory on every fit.

you literally cant fit sh*t on the suit anymore.
ill never run my logi equipment in pub matches again because it requires so much cost of survivability its not worth it whatsoever, so now my pub protologi is completely assault oriented.

Yup... I have a logi oriented fit that i'll use for PC but for pubs? lulz, no thanks.

Welcome to the world of every other logi suit.

Logis have always been the most expensive to run (heavys might have had them on cost for a bit,) but its really not feasable to run a protologi in pubs regardless. Congrats caldari, now you know what it REALLY feels like to be a logi.

CCP didn't turn them into assault suits, you simply do not have a logi mindset. Every other suit has to make compromises when it comes to fitting, it is not CCPs fault that equipment is at the bottom of your priority list for what needs to be fitted. Since clearly your choice of fitting indicates your combat efficiency is more important to you than your ability to support teammates, perhaps logistics was the wrong path for you to follow.

Newsflash: the minmatar logi is way better than the caldari now. Not only does it have better sprint and base speed(strafing) it has 40 more CPU, the ability to armor tank as well as shield tank, better bonus, & 4 equipment slots.

Get the idea? The caldari logi is now the worst logi suit. The ONLY thing is has going for it, is that its shield oriented, because the slot count is irrelevant since you MUST use cpu extenders. And if you want a decent recharge time you MUST use regulators. and doing that means you CANT have real equipment.

Make a choice, I do it all the time. I want to use the Freedom MD, but have to settle for an EXO-5 for equipment. I want to have all complex extenders in my highs, but I know that equipment is going to be more beneficial to my squad. Those ferroscale plates? Sorry, equipment... see a trend? Toss an enhancer in the low slot, balance your equipment and be glad that this is all the CaLogi got, you almost got the entire logi class ruined if CCP listened to all those crazy ass demands from ignorant players that thought everything in yellow was OP.

Whats not feasible about proto logi in pubs?

I was running proto logi with some proto equipment, some basic equipment, basic low modules and basic nades for the last two months? It was glorious. I was also already using a CPU module... its pretty much impossible not to.

I had 600 EHP or so and enough sta to keep up with my assault buddies.

Now? Meh, ishukone gauged nanos and then max out EHP and weaponry... gonna be the true logissault now.

They could have done it in a better way to incentivize cal logis to use equipment... instead they just gave us a choice... EHP or equipment. With pubs being a very self centered playstyle in general... a cal logi who chooses proto equipment over EHP will be a rare breed.

Couldn't say it any better. For as much trouble as the CaLogi has caused and your blatant disregard for the logistics role by trading equipment for damage mods and plates, you get 0 sympathy for me. That's saying something too because I'm an advocate against nerfs.

P.S. My Minmatar Logi has more HP and has 5m movement and 7.4m sprint speed.
