Many in the land of anime has asked the age old question time and time again, can an ending ruin a good show? Does the last few moments hold enough edge over the rest of the show that it brings it toppling down?

Well, let's take a look at a show who almost didn't even try to have an ending, and ask ourselves: Did it ruin the experience?

Is the show better off with an open-ended ending, or does it frustrate the viewer?

And then I will start talking about the show itself, explaining the characters, background, and how everything ties together. Then we get closer to how the show ends we begin to really take a look at how how that show handled the ending effected everything before it.

Basically, it boils down to the simple "Lady or the Tiger?" test: Do you need to be told what the ending will be?

I'll have to re-watch the show, honestly, I just rmember the ending resolving pretty much nothing but the new villain, lol.

That's why I argued that you two were missing the point of the ending--it was never an attempt to "resolve" anything. Rather, it stood as confirmation of what the show had been stressing all along; that, if given a clean slate, Mao would prove himself not to be inherently evil and that the Hero could find compassion towards her mortal enemies.

I recall it having a lot more going on then just Mao proving he's more then just a typical anime trope. It basically themed the 'don't judge a book by it's cover' the entire show with how each character is introduced then explained.

They even work it in in layers, from how they perceive our world, to how they perceive there own.

More I talk about it the more I look forward to the re-wtch. I'll make it Dub this time :3

Honestly, I thought the show missed a major plot point with Emi and Lucifer--wasn't it his army that killed her father? I understand that, by the time he shows up in the story, Emi has already realized that the devils are far different than they were in their world...but she doesn't really seem to have any sort of reaction to Lucifer being there. No confrontation or anything...

Watched the first two uncensored episodes of To Love Ru Darkness 2nd season...damn, Yuuki's one lucky dude. It's amazing to come back to this show and re-discover just how many girls he's juggling at one time...and just how far they can take things before becoming a full-blown hentai show.

Is that show any good? Think I've tried watching it once or twice...Which version is better? Or should I watch both?
