I just played three horrific games that were losses from the word go. First game I didn't realize we had people going 0/0 until the end of the match. The next match was just as bad, so halfway through I checked the score-sheet and started to see the same names from the previous game on my team. Did I team kill them? No. Did I send hate mail? No. I sent about ten blank emails to the person of a recognizable corp. What we have here is failure to communicate!. In my opinion, I hope you'll agree, the spam blank mail now represents hate mail to MCC squatters. It's about the same amount of effort.
The next match I scanned the MCC at the very start of the match. Three non movers. I knew another loss was coming. We wont beat them. So I thought, "If you can't beat them, join the ones who didn't join you in beating them", and I almost started to farm SP myself like a big hypocrite. No, I couldn't do it. I just shut the PS3 off after three games. Yay, fun.
Yeah, I know, cool story bro. There will be a sequel if this rotten gamesmanship continues. To all you real players, add these farming wasteoids to your contacts and spam them with blank mail then delete their contacts. If not that, please do not join the corps of these players.
If someone wants to compile a blacklist of these players and their corps . . . . run some names in the mud. They are killing the dust community.
The only other way is for absolutely everybody to farm skill until CCP realizes nobody is on the battlefield. |

I dislike AFK farming just as much as you, but let me just inform you that your post has delighted them and you have made them enjoy what they do even more. They thrive at pissing people off, or don't give two fucks what people think about them (why they don't have any issues with AFK farming)
The forum mods have a strange double standard when it comes to calling players out who do this. They let a 12 page thread go where I called out an Imperfect with a video, however they deleted a thread where I called out some lesser know Corporations. It's a violation of forum policy, unless of course it's an imperfect then the mods let it go.
There is nothing you can really do, and accepting that and moving on will make the game a lot more enjoyable. I strongly suggest you squad up with 3 other good players and make AFK players irrelevent to your chances of victory. That's what I did and I really don't care that much about it anymore.

Afkers are pathetic trash. I've learned to feel a little bit sorry for them. I mean, what kind of loser must you be to afk farm sp in a game that already gives you passive SP?
The behavior definitely taints the game as a whole, but know they won't last long. |

I AFK'd for 3 matches 2 weeks ago... I felt like a tool afterwards. However it was funny watching 3 others do the same lol. We starting shooting each other for awhile up there in the MCC. |

Something along the lines of pointing fingers was not a productive way to handle the issue. Seemed more productive than anything they have done so far.  Also the Imperfect player was named in the thread title haha, so serious double standard on enforcement.
Ahh right, the Kane thread. It seems I remembered wrong though, this is what GM Unicorn had said

I think by tryhards you might mean people who know the rewards of a team in real life. I sometimes forget that not everyone has been a part of a good team, whether underdog or favored. I don't care if people want to play a video game casually, but why they choose a team game where their carelessness affects other players is beyond me. |

You know what, don't even blame AFK's. Blame the skill cap. Some people are just lazy. Some might be off cleaning their house and doing other things and let the game keep their character up to speed. AFKers will only disappear when a Cap disappears. |

Right.... so they can AFK indefinitely? 
Problem right now is how rewards are handled, no one should get that much SP for just being in a match. Maybe if they just halved the SP for time in a match and increased the WP reward? |

Yeah, I might start doing it too. Despite how much I hate these players for doing it, I'm out there risking personal loss before I realize I'm unreasonably outnumbered. I will feel bad about it, but then again, I just shut the game off feeling bad, so . . . |

This was my suggestion to remove the incentive for AFK.
It would be 100x more effective than actually going after the behavior itself which will never really work.

I hadn't heard that. If so, good news. Because I've got kicked for not being able to spawn a new suit plenty enough times without sp/ isk recovery at the end. |

Anyone who believes there will be an anti-idol system with enough teeth to actually work is a fool.
There are to many side-cases where they have to error on the side of caution. It will be so easy to figure out a way to bypass any 'detection' they implement it will be a pointless exercise on their part. |
