i think if they just increased the passive skillpoints to include the active skillpoint cap and actually removed the active skillpoints, merging active booster into passive, that any incentive to afk would be gone. that's how it works in eve online.

people would play to make isk and get salvage- enemy player salvage preferably.

i dunno tho eve requires a subscription.. and dust atm allows free accounts (not sure if theyre going to implement the 10-20 dollar buy in on release). it would make alts an issue for sure i guess..

There are to many side-cases where they have to error on the side of caution. It will be so easy to figure out a way to bypass any 'detection' they implement it will be a pointless exercise on their part.

I like objectives and more purpose of positioning. I never play ambush.

Me too but not worth it with its current problems. Low ISK gains, redlining, AFKers...Ambush lets you win more SP/ISK in less time and isn't as annoying as the current state skirmish is. I actually die less in ambush than skirmish lol.

I guess I'll have to consider it. Or buy COD for the same thing.

The afkers would leave, but the rest of us would have a nice game to play, and CCP would continue to make money off of everything except the active boosters. Do it CCP. The afkers, no lifers will be off to the next shiny anyway.

I just played three horrific games that were losses from the word go. First game I didn't realize we had people going 0/0 until the end of the match. The next match was just as bad, so halfway through I checked the score-sheet and started to see the same names from the previous game on my team. Did I team kill them? No. Did I send hate mail? No. I sent about ten blank emails to the person of a recognizable corp. What we have here is failure to communicate!. In my opinion, I hope you'll agree, the spam blank mail now represents hate mail to MCC squatters. It's about the same amount of effort.

Yeah, I know, cool story bro. There will be a sequel if this rotten gamesmanship continues. To all you real players, add these farming wasteoids to your contacts and spam them with blank mail then delete their contacts. If not that, please do not join the corps of these players.

If someone wants to compile a blacklist of these players and their corps . . . . run some names in the mud. They are killing the dust community.
