Same issue as last night, Initially you are in the Waiting for battle pop up screen with the revolving circular animation. Then the joyous message "The battle you requested is no longer available" pops up. No amount of game restarts changes this problem. This has been constant and still is as of 10:25 UTC...

Tried to join 7 games this morning before work:

2. reached game queue then back to the station with no message

Reboot PS3 - This is the usual fix but...
4. "server full"

First match this morning.... Started at about 10:30 EST
Battle initializing... "You have have been disconnect from the host"
Second attempt.... Stuck in in battle initializing.
Relogging.
Third Attempt: Full Game played, and rewarded. but, stuck at controller layout loading screen.
Quit game, relogging, quit game didn't work tv went black, have to do 30s hold power button for reset.
Fourth attempt: Server Full
Fifth attempt: Loaded into match, yay. no wait Invalid.
Relogging.
#6. looking promising, loaded into war barge, not invalid (yet). Success. Loaded back into room.
#7. Loaded into game.... wait for it.... Invalid.
Relogging.
#8. entered in match... almost over. but succesful. back in room.
#9. Battle initializing... loading into game...? fooled you loaded you back into your room lol.
#10. Successful. loaded back into room.
#11. Waiting for battle. "The battle you have requested is no longer available."
#12.Waiting for battle. "The battle you have requested is no longer available."
#13. Waiting for battle. "The battle you have requested is no longer available."
#14. waited a minute, loaded drop suits... Waiting for battle. "The battle you have requested is no longer available."
#15. Waiting for battle. "The battle you have requested is no longer available."
Relogging.
#16. Succesful... but game had constant lag spikes in battle. back in room now.
#17. Successful, loaded back into room.
#18. Stuck at battle initializing, able to leave battle and do.
#19. Hit circle, character freezes can't move, battle not initializing, frozen.
Relogging. It is now 12:30pm EST and that is my experience for the last 2 hours or so, hope this was helpful. |

just to clarify: i cant see any battles under corporate battles - only one empty line that when i tried to use it i get the "server is full" message
for normal battles i see one battle with 0/0 players in it - server is full here also

Corp battles happen from 12:00 GMT to 1:30 GMT. and 1 every 30 minutes, you wont see them until then. |

I've played three full games in two days, either I'm not allowed to join any games and get a message saying "The battle you requested is no longer available." or, if I get into a match, all my dropsuits are "Invalid", and as I leave the game, I freeze in the room, only able to open the chat, yet not able to write anything... and to top it all I now can't get passed the loading screen after choosing character... this is just ridiculous... |

I have tried restarting my modem, wireless router and PS3. I even switched between wireless and Ethernet connections.
I usually get 34Mbps which has been great for any game but not for Dust514 apparently. I'm betting it has something to do with this not being the real EVE server and just a beta server. |

Same problem here. Lost connection. Could not even close the game. Had to reboot the ps3. After that tried to get into instant battle and got stuck there no neocom possible anymore. Chat is still possible but that is all. |

I usually have the occasional problem getting into matches, dropping ater joining etc.
For the last 45 minutes (plus) i have been able to get into a match but haven't been able to get past the initialising stage. I'm stuck looking at the controller layout & spinning hub cap of doom.
I have tried leaving it to see if it kicks me back to the quarters, quiting game & restarting my ps3. Nothing seems to enable me to get into a battle (probably time to get a bit of sleep anyway  ) |

i'll get to do one battle maybe. last time i got to the choose spawn point screen and the game ended then when i tried to start another battle all my Dropsuits were invalid all this from a fresh log in.
turned my PS3 off gonna let it sit for a few then try again. |

Is happening to me now after having to relog when everything got stuck.
I can see the player list, and in one instance could hear audio coming through the mic from the battle but was stuck at the "Battle initializing" screen. |

Can't get into any games either. I use Quick Battle and get into a queue but it doesn't progress any further than the Battle Initialization Screen. I can see players come and go and even type in Local channel.
Even with full teams, game does not start.
Finally gave up and quit Dust.
Same thing happened last night as well. |

At this point I think we could use a mini-downtime after Corp Battles end. Yes, I realize we're in the middle of US primetime, but something seems to be overtaxing the servers and DUST becomes all but unplayable around the same time every night for the last three days. |

Three reboots of the PS3 later and I still receive an error that says, "The battle you requested is no longer available," using instant queuing.. I can chat, use the market place, adjust fittings, check the star map, walk around in MQ... But I can't join any battles!!! :( |

Exact same thing for me, only I have gotten into a few more battles (same results though) and once or twice it kicked me to my Merc Quarters straight from the "lobby" area (before the match started).
I have tried a total of two different characters as well (main/alt), and the results are the same with both (i.e. unable to join/complete any battles). |

I attempted to start a character and give this game a shot today. All I end up with is a message telling me that the game is no longer available. Would love to try it out and give feedback. Also introduced a friend, who is an eve online player to the game. |

I just got into another.....and then hard-locked on the controller screen afterward. im getting 1 game per hour , roughly. There's definitely something wrong. My local channel has everyone saying they cant get into a match. My private corp channel, some people are having trouble, some no problems at all. 1 is even relatively close to me geographically and his is fine, so it's not a regional issue.

ok same issues as others have posted.
logged in go to instant battle 3 of 5 battle complete
1 of 5 battle completes
1of 5 removed mid battle, suits and mods gone, no sp no isk
rinse and repeat, has happened over the last 5 days every-time I log in
sometimes the frequency changes but I do get kicked from more battles than I complete.

The last 3 late nights for me have been the same as this for me (01:00 - 05:00 GMT). Last night was the worst its been since I first joined a couple of builds back. However I havent had this problem anywhere near as bad in the day time (EU) so it may be the server creaking a toouch with the icreasing amount of players ???

Not sure if this has anything to do with it, But one of my friends gave me a Beta Key for DUST. I entered in the code, which started my download for the game. It downloaded, undated, authenticated, even let me go as far as to make characters. But as soon as i select a character to play, it pops up with an error message saying the account is not validated. I received a validation email for the beta key, clicked the link, and got a reply e-mail stating that i was now an official member of the DUST 514 Beta Testing. Not sure where to really go from here. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.  |

Something different happened earlier. I got hung on the player list where it shows the lobby filling up, and somebody with a mic was in game. I could here them shooting or whatever. Then I loaded back into my merc quarters and could still here them playing. I had to restart the game after that. |

At the beginning, with this build, I could get in a game after log-in the first time, then I would get one of the described problems for 2 out of 3 of the following matches. The most frustrating one being the invalid fit after an unusually long wait to join a battle.
Since the Aug 30 update, the first log-in makes no difference, and I can only get in a game (without the invalid fit problem) only about once every 10 attempts.
Now, after months of playing the various Beta builds, I have given up completely on this one. So please let us know with an email when you have resolved the instability issues, because I can live without the frustration of trying on a regular basis to see if it works.
One more thing to add to the symptoms: The PS3 told me at one point that the Dust files were corrupted and that I should uninstall and reinstall (I can't remember the exact wording). I did not do it because I am not happy enough about Dust right now to invest that time, but if/when I do it, I'll let you know. |

Finally got into a match today, after a couple tried and one invalid fitting. It wasn't too bad. A little glitchy, but good. Then the game naked me completely to my home base or whatever and completely froze my PS3. It would not do any normal restarts, so I had to unplug it. Needless to say, I'm not going to try this game again until I'm informed of some repairs to it. |

I have been having to reset my ps3 constantly because of this problem. Quitting and starting the game over usually doesn't help. I'm not getting disconnected from the internet or PSN it is like the game goes idle and none of the controls work anymore. I can usually tell when its gonna happen because all of a sudden I am unable to load the market, assets, fitting etc in the neocom. Oddly enough I can still walk around and look at my skills. But the moment I try to Open Instant Battle my game becomes unresponsive. The only things that work is the Neocom and the middle PSN button. Anyone know if there is a fix for this, or if it is something ccp is going to have to work on? |

I have "kinda" worked around the bug where you try and join a battle after you just got kicked out of one and then all of the sudden you can't move and have to restart issue. What I do now is when I get kicked or get hung up in the lobby I wait like a minute and just walk around and use some of the stuff in the quarters. It seems to work "sometimes". If I immediately try and join another instant battle it almost always locks me up. It's like the game still thinks I am in the last battle or something.
Ok yes. If you wait about a minute, and then try to join instant battle again you will avoid the lock up. I had like 4 different team chat channels open. They just kept on stacking up. Then I got an infinite load screen when I tried leaving the squad channel. |

same problem with me yesterday....september 1st around 8pm est time and it continues today, (sept 2nd) its currently3pm est here. myself and a couple of other ppl were in a squad and we could get the initialize screen but the game would never fully load. and would have to reboot the game before some of us could exit the initialize screen cuz we weren't squad leader. please fix that...
We tried multiple times changing squad leaders and other things...but kept getting the same thing...initialize and then nothing....tried by myself a few times and still got the same thing. the farthest i got was to the war barge and then my screen blacked out and had to pull the plug on my ps3 i havent gotten into a match in two days. |

It has been getting really bad around 8pm EST until very late. Last night it was horendouse until 1am est then all of a sudden is was like the last build, we played 10+ games in a row, no problems. 1 or 2 resets until about 4am. I had to pinch myself a few times to make sure I wasn't dreaming. |

Unable to join the battle again, around 21:22GMT. The PS3 has been stuck on the Battle Initializing screen for over 5 mins. No error message. I am able to click the circle button to exit the screen and return to MQ, but this has now happened several times today. Each time though I have been able to reboot, play several matches and then I get the same or similar response. Either an error msg, server full, no longer found, the new one, " Invalid Fittings." Also, it can sit on the Battle init screen, or maybe just drop back to MQ. Overall, it has been constant for me, play 3 to 4 matches and then the failure. |

Welp, just like last night, the game is breaking for me again. I've been at the battle initializing screen for over 5 mintues now. The first 2 times I tried it, it filled up with people like it was going to do something, then it said connection to host lost. Now it's full up again and just frozen. Seriously guys, give us back the battle finder along with instant battle. |

For me the majority of this had been happening after the corp battles were complete. For several hours at a time this has happened before as well but unfortunately I cannot be more specific as it was over several hours of trying and retrying after the corp battles. This was also occurring for a period of time during the corp battles and was only happening some of the time. We also tried unforming and reforming the squads with different people initiating the battle. |

This has been happening since the move from the old servers mid-August. There is often not any message at all. These problems occur at all hours of the day (mornings, mid-day, afternoon, evenings, night, late night / wee hours).
The general result is not being able to enter any matches - when I do, more often than not the match doesn't complete. An optimistic assessment is a 5% match completion : match attempted with valid dropsuit fittings ratio. Factor in how often dropsuit fittings are invalidated, that drops to 2%.
Out of curiosity, what got broken in the mid-August server migration? The old servers at least worked and one could clearly see what battles were available in what geographic zones. |

Today on several occasions the 'Battle Initialisation' has hung up on me & kicked me back to the quarters. Unfortunately I wasn't able to move from that point, despite waiting. After waiting for about 5 minutes I tried to power down my ps3 BUT it didnt reset properly each time & I just ended up with a black screen. At that time I then had to power down again.
This has only just started today for me not sure if it has happened to anyone else.
The game has its flaws at the moment but none seem to be as disruptive as the problems caused by not beng able to join battles. |

Same issues as outlined in previous posts. Either I cannot join a battle i.e " server is full" or "the battle you requested is no longer available."
Then if I do manage to get into a game, I'm either disconnected due to an " internal error " or I can't play at all, because all of my dropsuits are invalid.
Originally I thought this might have something to do with the DMZ, (since I've had this issue with a few online multiplayer PS3 games) but unfortunately, after fiddling with that, I'm still experiencing the same issues.
Hope it gets fixed soon, because I love this game. |

This started for me after my second corp battle Saturday night (US TZ), when a whole lot of minmatar briefly wound up in the gallente / caldari match.. Last night I was getting stuck on the initializing screen and could voice chat with other players on the team. Everyone had the same issue. Tonight I got dropped to quarters while loading the first corp match, and then tried to join an instant battle. I get stuck on the waiting for battle panel until I get the battle no longer available error.
Also, after getting this error tonight I have issues with text chat. It seems that my messages are going through but whatever I typed isn't relayed back to my screen. After a while this problem corrects itself. |

Here is a normal day of play Dust
First I click instant battle and either a sever is full message, a battle you join is no longer available, or a battle initializing screen pops up but I'm returned to my quarters with no error message. I usually do this 3 or 4 times before it works and I'm in a battle.
I might go a full match and safely return to my but usually when I try next I either get an invalid fit for all my drop suits when I enter a battle or it takes a long time in the battle initialing screen in which I press Circle or leave the battle and I AM sure the next time I press instant battle or battle finder the game would freeze. Its a tell tale sign when the market cant load anything and you cant buy skill books in the character sheet. To fix this problem I used to restart from the PS HOME menu but now I have to reboot my whole system. I think I'm putting my PS3's health at risk. LOL

It seems to be better now. I can manage to play a few games in a row. Unfortunately they are mostly all Ambush style with random spawn. I do love getting shot in the back two seconds after the first spawn. And spawning in the middle of five reds. Lovely situations.

For the last 45 mins I have been trying to get into a game...
First I get the server is full message repeatedly
Then I get into the screen listing some players..... Sits there for 10 mins or so and nothing changes so I give up and quit then I can not even bring up the screen to start a game so have to reboot
Once the game restarts I manage to get into a game, spawn and run about 20 steps to hear game over, you lost..
Back to the server full message again for about 15-20 tries
Get into another game and while it is loading I hear mcc destroyed, didn't even get to see a map..
Back again to server full... Then get into another game, this one I go to the pre launch room so get to join the game from the start to find that when the game does start all my drop suits are invalid... Game quit/restart again...
Again, server full.... Then finally I get to start a game from the start and have drop suits!!!
I'm sure i'm missing a game restart in all that lot somewhere + just before I managed to successfully get into a game I noticed a very quick message in the top right during one of the failed/server full attempts to join a game saying something along the lines of connection to server lost
This all started around 2:20 GMT - email me if you need my ip |

Same issue here either say requested battle no longer available or it goes into "battle initializing screen" fills up with players but never starts the battle.
Oh and tryed rebooting ps3 router and modem did not solve this issue. |

Lets see, got into 3 games just fine with one friend in a squad from 9:30-11:00. Then had another friend join in and from 11:00-16:00 I couldn't get in at all. Mostly getting "The battle you are trying to join is no longer available." The few games I did join I would have invalid fits or someone didn't get in. Also ran into a few "You can't join the battle because you are not the squad leader." That one is new. Will make a new thread for that one like the Devs requested since it is a separate bug. |

Agreed. Shut it off if its messing up so much. Its better to give you guys time to work on it than for everyone to keep getting frustrated. It just seems to be getting worse since the hotfix updates. Id rather be told servers are down when i log in than to be able to log in getting my hopes up that i geta get some action. Unless thats your way of pinpointing whats going on. Idk. Your the experts so i will leave it at that. I have faith in you CCP. |

Aside from corp battles I haven't been able to play since Thursday. I'm trying deleting the game and reinstalling now. Not likely to help, but worth a shot I guess. |

Once again, I get to play 1 game and then I can never connect to another one.
The past week, I've joined every day and have had issues connecting after 1 or 2 games.
This is unacceptable.

"The battle you requested is no longer available."
I want my 30 day booster back, I can't play more than half the time, and I dont want my booster going towards freaking idle SP.
EDIT: Spent 35 minutes trying to get in, now I have Invalid Fittings.
