Welp, just like last night, the game is breaking for me again. I've been at the battle initializing screen for over 5 mintues now. The first 2 times I tried it, it filled up with people like it was going to do something, then it said connection to host lost. Now it's full up again and just frozen. Seriously guys, give us back the battle finder along with instant battle. |

I get this, always, at any time, from 3 days.
For me the majority of this had been happening after the corp battles were complete. For several hours at a time this has happened before as well but unfortunately I cannot be more specific as it was over several hours of trying and retrying after the corp battles. This was also occurring for a period of time during the corp battles and was only happening some of the time. We also tried unforming and reforming the squads with different people initiating the battle. |

This has been happening since the move from the old servers mid-August. There is often not any message at all. These problems occur at all hours of the day (mornings, mid-day, afternoon, evenings, night, late night / wee hours).
The general result is not being able to enter any matches - when I do, more often than not the match doesn't complete. An optimistic assessment is a 5% match completion : match attempted with valid dropsuit fittings ratio. Factor in how often dropsuit fittings are invalidated, that drops to 2%.
Out of curiosity, what got broken in the mid-August server migration? The old servers at least worked and one could clearly see what battles were available in what geographic zones. |

Today on several occasions the 'Battle Initialisation' has hung up on me & kicked me back to the quarters. Unfortunately I wasn't able to move from that point, despite waiting. After waiting for about 5 minutes I tried to power down my ps3 BUT it didnt reset properly each time & I just ended up with a black screen. At that time I then had to power down again.
This has only just started today for me not sure if it has happened to anyone else.
The game has its flaws at the moment but none seem to be as disruptive as the problems caused by not beng able to join battles.  |

Same issues as outlined in previous posts. Either I cannot join a battle i.e " server is full" or "the battle you requested is no longer available."
Then if I do manage to get into a game, I'm either disconnected due to an " internal error " or I can't play at all, because all of my dropsuits are invalid.
Originally I thought this might have something to do with the DMZ, (since I've had this issue with a few online multiplayer PS3 games) but unfortunately, after fiddling with that, I'm still experiencing the same issues.
Hope it gets fixed soon, because I love this game. |

This started for me after my second corp battle Saturday night (US TZ), when a whole lot of minmatar briefly wound up in the gallente / caldari match.. Last night I was getting stuck on the initializing screen and could voice chat with other players on the team. Everyone had the same issue. Tonight I got dropped to quarters while loading the first corp match, and then tried to join an instant battle. I get stuck on the waiting for battle panel until I get the battle no longer available error.
Also, after getting this error tonight I have issues with text chat. It seems that my messages are going through but whatever I typed isn't relayed back to my screen. After a while this problem corrects itself. |

Sitting for 3 minutes in the "Battle Initializing" screen. Exit and ps3 froze.
Restart.
Get 3 "Server Full" messages.
Ragelog.

Here is a normal day of play Dust
First I click instant battle and either a sever is full message, a battle you join is no longer available, or a battle initializing screen pops up but I'm returned to my quarters with no error message. I usually do this 3 or 4 times before it works and I'm in a battle.
I might go a full match and safely return to my but usually when I try next I either get an invalid fit for all my drop suits when I enter a battle or it takes a long time in the battle initialing screen in which I press Circle or leave the battle and I AM sure the next time I press instant battle or battle finder the game would freeze. Its a tell tale sign when the market cant load anything and you cant buy skill books in the character sheet. To fix this problem I used to restart from the PS HOME menu but now I have to reboot my whole system. I think I'm putting my PS3's health at risk.  LOL

It seems to be better now. I can manage to play a few games in a row. Unfortunately they are mostly all Ambush style with random spawn. I do love getting shot in the back two seconds after the first spawn. And spawning in the middle of five reds. Lovely situations.

For the last 45 mins I have been trying to get into a game...
First I get the server is full message repeatedly
Then I get into the screen listing some players..... Sits there for 10 mins or so and nothing changes so I give up and quit then I can not even bring up the screen to start a game so have to reboot
Once the game restarts I manage to get into a game, spawn and run about 20 steps to hear game over, you lost..
Back to the server full message again for about 15-20 tries
Get into another game and while it is loading I hear mcc destroyed, didn't even get to see a map..
Back again to server full... Then get into another game, this one I go to the pre launch room so get to join the game from the start to find that when the game does start all my drop suits are invalid... Game quit/restart again...
Again, server full.... Then finally I get to start a game from the start and have drop suits!!!
I'm sure i'm missing a game restart in all that lot somewhere + just before I managed to successfully get into a game I noticed a very quick message in the top right during one of the failed/server full attempts to join a game saying something along the lines of connection to server lost
This all started around 2:20 GMT - email me if you need my ip |

Same issue here in Canada. Infinite battle loading screen followed by "The battle you requested is no longer available."
Devs, you might as well shut er down until you fix this, not playable and restarts don't fix this one...

Same issue here either say requested battle no longer available or it goes into "battle initializing screen" fills up with players but never starts the battle.
Oh and tryed rebooting ps3 router and modem did not solve this issue. |

Seriously?
I'm seriously considering uninstalling this game. I spend hours every time I log in, trying to get into a match, or work around that stupid invalid fitting glitch.

Lets see, got into 3 games just fine with one friend in a squad from 9:30-11:00. Then had another friend join in and from 11:00-16:00 I couldn't get in at all. Mostly getting "The battle you are trying to join is no longer available." The few games I did join I would have invalid fits or someone didn't get in. Also ran into a few "You can't join the battle because you are not the squad leader." That one is new. Will make a new thread for that one like the Devs requested since it is a separate bug. |

Problem with joining games from 0430 UTC to 0545 UTC Monday 9/3/12. Gave up and submitted a bug report. Tried one more time from around 0615 UTC to 0640 - still unable to join any game. Sigh. G'night. |

Agreed. Shut it off if its messing up so much. Its better to give you guys time to work on it than for everyone to keep getting frustrated. It just seems to be getting worse since the hotfix updates. Id rather be told servers are down when i log in than to be able to log in getting my hopes up that i geta get some action. Unless thats your way of pinpointing whats going on. Idk. Your the experts so i will leave it at that. I have faith in you CCP. |

Aside from corp battles I haven't been able to play since Thursday. I'm trying deleting the game and reinstalling now. Not likely to help, but worth a shot I guess. |

I've been having the above problem tonight as well. I just reset my router and tried to log in again. Couldn't. Retried and it froze and restarted the PS3. |
