Sometimes I will see a player name that violates the naming terms and conditions.

- AssGrass OrGas

When I do, I write the name down. I add them to my contact list and I wait.
I see their weekly stats rise. Their K/D might increase 0.05 or their warpoint count jumps up suddenly. They might have discovered the weapon or dropsuit that perfectly fits their playstyle. Maybe they found their calling as a logistic player.
I look for advancement. Progression. Investment.
A month or two has gone by at this point. If the F2P payment model is working, they have probably bought AUR at this point. They have invested time AND money.
It's now that I report their name for violating the T&C's.

First of all, you are a dumb*** and a snitch and I do not commend you for your actions, but condemn you. We as humans and mercs have every right to express ourselves in the way that we feel is appropriate (or inappropriate as the case may be).
Second of all you stoolie they do not continue their existence in game as GALLENTE MERC (some number) CCP gives them the option to create a support ticket to have their name changed again. All you do is cause a tiny annoyance and are proud of the fact you are a snitch...you disgust me.

LOL You are just giving them a free name change. Once they receive their prison id they are able to submit a ticket and have that changed to a new name. This is the one and only way you can get a name change in New Eden.
Haven't you ever wondered why you never see prison ids?

Just as a PSA, having all your friends report your name will NOT get you a free name change. CCP is smart to that trick.

What is trolling is attempting to use those rules to attempt to ruin people time in the game by not reporting them unless they actually stick around and move up the ranks. What is also trolling is attempting to come on the forums and brag about the fact that you do just that.

I could leave the match, but as I have already pointed out, why should I have to leave a match because someone else is doing something wrong?

As far as CCP is concerned they don't give too many *****. I had an alt I wanted to rename so my boy could use it. Support ticket was rejected because they can't change names.

I'm not speaking for CCP, I'm speaking of their actions. They aren't changing vulgar, racist, or sexist names; they're changing reported names. If the names weren't reported CCP wouldn't do a damn thing about them.
You don't have to look at the names because just as easy as you can look at them, you can look away from them and just as easily as you can choose to not click that link. Or do you not have control over your own eyes?

By waiting to report them I am ensuring they will keep their new name and not remake an equally terrible name in a heartbeat.

When I do, I write the name down. I add them to my contact list and I wait. I see their weekly stats rise. Their K/D might increase 0.05 or their warpoint count jumps up suddenly. They might have discovered the weapon or dropsuit that perfectly fits their playstyle. Maybe they found their calling as a logistic player. I look for advancement. Progression. Investment. A month or two has gone by at this point. If the F2P payment model is working, they have probably bought AUR at this point. They have invested time AND money. Actually they don't tell you crap, all they tell you as that they will look into the matter and if action needs to be taken they will take it. People get to play with a stupid name then you report them and they change it to a real one, no big deal.

I find your corp name particulary offensive as it combines both race and the intent to kill onself, i derive that you are advocating the genocide of people of asiatic descent, which i find to be racially offensive and against rule 34 of the forum rules. It also falls under rule 30. as calling for the euthanasia of the young in asia is offenive towards CCP employess in shanghai.
