Karma. "What goes around comes around", eh? Strangely enough, that is exactly what is happening to those who use obscene or offensive names.

They create a name, knowing full well it is offensive, but they do it anyway. They are then reported, and required to change their name. They got what they deserved.

In fact, you have actively signed this right away twice, once on PSN terms of use and once on the Dust 514 terms of use.

That part isn't quite true, in fact a federal judge just ruled that it's perfectly legal to flip off a cop. If that doesn't show how false the bold'ed statement is then nothing does.

Of course private organizations aren't bound by the same laws as government organizations so they can get away with not allowing free speech and the like because we have no rights here regardless of whether or not we signed anything. The ToS is just there in case they need to cover their ass from some random law that can be vaguely interpreted into something that allows for a lawsuit to happen.
