The scout nerf.. are you serious?

But making me wait 5 seconds before I can shoot or anything else after using cloak is unacceptable and unplayable.. If your goal was to kill this class, then congratulations.. I've been here since Closed Beta and have suffered many stupid nerfs but this is the worst by far. Who's idea was this anyways? Call of Booty crowd that runs this game now? mindless assault drones? First, The problem with being able to shoot from inside cloak was NEVER MORE THAN A VISUAL LAG GLITCH.. which STILL remains the exact same.. But now I have to wait 5 seconds for you to NOT SEE ME pull out my shotty.. This is a scout ending and incredibly STUPID thing to do to my class.. O well, I knew this type of insanity was in the pipeline, but I wont be here to tolerate it.. Im giving up my 40 million SP's and my character because its just downright UNPLAYABLE now.. thanks CCP. Tryhard call of booty forum warriors need to realize one thing.. Scouts are not OP.. they are simply better players than you.. Fast twitch players enjoy mobility and will sacrifice just about anything to get it.. Pure and simple.. sorry to break the truth.. Anyways, peace out DUST.. you broke my heart

Depends on the cloak you have. Basic cloak is can't lock anyone, drastically reduced move speed, cannot warp, and there is a delay to locking after you decloak. The Covert Cloak moves you at 100% speed, no delay from decloaking to lock, and you can warp. However, the two games really need to be stopped as a comparison to each other. It is like asking Bloodlust in World of Warcraft to work exactly like Warcraft 3. Two different games, two entirely different genre. "This is B.S! This is B.S! I paid money! Cash money, dollars money, cash money!"

It has only been a few months since the cloak was added and already we have people that don't know there was a time it didn't exist and we didn't need it? I'm better than laser focused; I'm hybrid focused.

From a scout perspective: i've learned to un-cloak a little before and the timing is almost fine, but the fix have a problem, sometime it does not change to weapon and you have to press again, that's annoying, but the timing is ok. The greatest problem are for those who tank scouts, no more charging like bulls in front of the enemy, you can have a lot of HP but if the enemy see you, you are half dead, no more 99% chance of success.

Anyway, it took me a couple of matches to get used to the new 1 second decloak delay but now it doesn't bother me anymore. The problem with scouts is that they have all the tools to easily overcome all of the shortcomings of the most powerful instakill weapons. And the new cloak delay makes it harder but did not overnerf it at all. REs, knives, and shotguns are still as useful to a scout as before. Assault / Logi / Scout / Sentinel // @JebusMcKing

Because Ill be playing a game that doesnt have the worst shooting mechanics of ANY first person shooter made.. I only played dust because it had some things that were not like other shooters.. Now its just point and click shooter like COD, with STUPID mechanics.. no straffing.. actually nothing original or fun left here.. moving on and for the guy who put "1 second delay" was dead wrong.. I counted "1 thousand one.. 1 thousand 2 .. 1 thousand 3.. before the gun even shows up.. then half the time it wont shoot.. or shoots late..
