Hold it right there. No, having an officer weapon doesn't say anything about being the best at anything, it just so happened that spent x amount of time playing with only one weapon for a weekend. Officer weapons equate to the in best, in the same way that the Grammies equate to good music.

I might be able to who knows, who cares? It'd be very presumptuous of anyone to believe that just because a player had the most kills in a weekend with a certain weapon, even at militia tier, that they are the best at it.

There are a plethora of reasons why someone better didn't get an officer weapon named. It will never equate because there are too many factors to account for, so rather than being arrogant and making bold claims like "espeon bons is the best shotgunner in the game." I'd rather say things I know to be true,
"The gravitaional constant on the earth surface is 9.8 m/s^s."
"Moody was better."
"Slippery slopes are silly."
etc.

I've been here since Closed Beta and have suffered many stupid nerfs but this is the worst by far. Who's idea was this anyways? Call of Booty crowd that runs this game now? mindless assault drones?
First, The problem with being able to shoot from inside cloak was NEVER MORE THAN A VISUAL LAG GLITCH.. which STILL remains the exact same.. But now I have to wait 5 seconds for you to NOT SEE ME pull out my shotty.. This is a scout ending and incredibly STUPID thing to do to my class..
O well, I knew this type of insanity was in the pipeline, but I wont be here to tolerate it.. Im giving up my 40 million SP's and my character because its just downright UNPLAYABLE now.. thanks CCP.
Tryhard call of booty forum warriors need to realize one thing.. Scouts are not OP.. they are simply better players than you.. Fast twitch players enjoy mobility and will sacrifice just about anything to get it.. Pure and simple.. sorry to break the truth..
Anyways, peace out DUST.. you broke my heart I agree with part of this and I agree the 5 seconds really messed me up for a while. It wasn't to much to cripple scouts. I ha had to learn to time the decloak it adds a little more skill lol to get the timing perfect and shotty before you get killed by every1 else with RRs. But the laggy shots that have come with the new update is just terrible and needs to be fixed for sure. When I shoot a heavy and it gives a FPS drop is the most annoying thing right now. If they gave an option to turn off the moods and extra graphics I think it would help a lot.

From a scout perspective: i've learned to un-cloak a little before and the timing is almost fine, but the fix have a problem, sometime it does not change to weapon and you have to press again, that's annoying, but the timing is ok.
The greatest problem are for those who tank scouts, no more charging like bulls in front of the enemy, you can have a lot of HP but if the enemy see you, you are half dead, no more 99% chance of success.
People who say the learned to uncloak earlier are either not scouts or just trying to look tuff.. That only works if you are following somebody.. Which is less than 30% of all situations we find ourselves in.. |
