Ok CCP, it looks to me that it HAS to be obvious that we want our vehicle variants back. Marauders, Enforcers, logi LAVs and DS, scout LAVs, etc. This is the thread to get your attention. No one I've met has said no to having them back. This is the petition for getting them back. If you agree with having our variants back and making vehicles on the battlefield unique again, sign below and give your reason for wanting them back. I have a few myself.
#1. Makes the difference between a 20 mill SP tanker and a 0 SP tanker much better.
#2. Makes vehicle usage non-boring, i mean really. How many vehicle fittings are out there that are actually viable? Everyone uses the exact same stuff. At least this will give us a little bit of variety in fittings by having more slots to use.
#3. Makes balancing AV vs. Tanks much easier. Pro AV vs. The better hulls with proto modules, adv AV for the better hulls with basic mods or basic tanks with proto mods, basic AV for basic hulls with basic mods, etc.
#4. Gives a reason to nerf mlt vehicles into the ground. With more than two types of hulls, we can actually make mlt mlt instead of being std with one less slot.
Please guys, lets get our vehicles back. Even you infantry guys, help us out. Imagine if you had at most three different types of suits for use. It would suck wouldn't it?

This could also be combined with the re-introduction of vehicle mods. Heat sinks, chassis, Rechargers, supplemental stuff etc. CCP said all of this would return months ago, never heard anything since

I believe their removal was about rethinking vehicle roles, obviously black ops HAVs, marauders, and enforcers weren't working as intended, so they were all removed in turn. I never saw a black ops HAV in the field (probably because they cost an arm, a leg, and several fucktons of SP), and enforcers were declared useless by the community.

But, that doesn't mean that in the past 6 months they couldn't of thought of more uses for them. Enforcers- high damage, lower survivability. Marauders- low damage, high survivability. Why not?

LLAVs would go quite nicely with the HP/s nerf of Armor Repairers, as it would create an incentive to use teamwork, and would serve as a true Support Vehicle.
I want SLAVs back, as their high-speed not only made them ideal for transport when you need to break past enemy lines, but it was also a fun thing to use in races. The LDSs should be re-introduced because it would be the ideal gunship for those who want to support Infantry troops.
It should also be noted that these items still exist in this game.

You wanted vehicles to be nerfed until they became nothing but useless again
You cried and cried and cried until we had less vehicles, modules, skills and even then it wasnt enough and look at what we have now
We have less than nothing, we had nerfed hulls with mods which are not worth putting on while our turrets barely work

Only **** tankers thought that the Falchion or Vayu were useless.
In the right situation, they were unstoppable.
99% of players couldn't put it all together if they tried.
Although I am pretty sure that there was only Alpha and myself running Vayus. Although he ran a more traditional, whereas I went for the Hybrid variety.
Tankers who didn't use the Enforcers missed out.
Real AV doesn't stop until all the tanks are dead.

I know I did, but at the time was putting SP into fitting skills and developing my cores so I could complete with most other Maddy's.
I missed out on both Marauders and Enforcers.

I don't even care if they are hard to use. That was what tanking was fun about back in the day. You were in a 2 million isk tank that was easy to lose. It made every tank matter.

Yeah but no HAV could or should cost 2 Million ISK.... I mean I could have fit out a Tormentor for interstellar flight for to the cost of a well fit Madrugar back then.

There is no place for them. With the current playerbase, those vehicles will just be complained about. Do you not see folks crying about tanks in Ambush to have them removed only for Judge to tell people to leave those matches? Folks crying about more tanks being in objective maps and wanting to limit the amount that can be called in?
Vehicle discussion is such a hot topic. Adding more fuel to the fire (vehicles) won't help. We don't need to see those vehicles until Legion comes around.

That was back when even normal tanks required real team work to keep alive.
But once you put a LLAV behind a decent driver, it was game over for the enemy until the realized what was going on. If you played smart and protected your LLAV then you became a very formidable threat, which was something most of the infantry at that time had not seen.
Some of my highest levels of enjoyment came from those games. Myself, Ted Nugget and Thundergroove running two Charybdii and an enforcer. Between the murder taxi kills, the tank ripping everything up, and being able to sit in a nOB while under rep, it was ******* EPIC.
Teamwork has always been OP, but never more than with those days. You had to work together, play smart, and spend a ton of ISK to do it, but damn was it ever fun.
Shame they had to go and screw it all up after that instead of just SLIGHTLY nerfing AV like I had suggested for months before the vehicle rework.
These forums will be funny in 6 months when tanks get rebuffed due to them being unused.
Oh wait, that would require players, and since everyone wants infantry to dominate, tankers will just vacate to go to games that support a more full combat experience.
Now it is crappy CoD in space, and that is about as fun as it sounds.
Real AV doesn't stop until all the tanks are dead.

Nobody asked for those vehicles removed, it was actually CCP's decision. Heck, I remember people crying to keep them in the game. Why else do you think ADSs are still here?

I do not want Logistic vehicles without proper and viable logistic modules and/or turrets to make them actual support vehicles. Not just tankier versions of STD frames.

Not only is that good for content creation and encourages teamwork, it solves the issue of Supply Depots being inaccessible to vehicles as well.

my thoughts on it as a lav user wishing for more varation.
scout lav's faster less ehp bounus to scan time.
llav's slower more ehp have a triage hive attached. bounus to triage.
