Would you rather have 3 kinds of specialised tanks or one.......

Atiim wrote: I want SLAVEs back, as their high-efficiency not only made them ideal for menial labour when you need a break in the afternoon, but it was also a fun thing to use the lesser races. The Low Down Slavess should be re-introduced because the would be the ideal workforce for those who want to support Imperial troops.
It should also be noted that these prodicts still exist in this game.
We'll make a fine Imperial out of you yet Atiim!
((Goddamnit Atiim you make it far to easy to misquote you))
However I agree with the sentiments of both the original post and the misquoted post entirely.

In the right situation, they were unstoppable. 99% of players couldn't put it all together if they tried. Although I am pretty sure that there was only Alpha and myself running Vayus. Although he ran a more traditional, whereas I went for the Hybrid variety. Tankers who didn't use the Enforcers missed out.
I know I did, but at the time was putting SP into fitting skills and developing my cores so I could complete with most other Maddy's.
I missed out on both Marauders and Enforcers.

Again, another situation where community cried nerf and then changes their mind later on, completely forgetting that they brought about the change in the first place.
I don't even care if they are hard to use. That was what tanking was fun about back in the day. You were in a 2 million isk tank that was easy to lose. It made every tank matter.
Yeah but no HAV could or should cost 2 Million ISK.... I mean I could have fit out a Tormentor for interstellar flight for to the cost of a well fit Madrugar back then.

But, that doesn't mean that in the past 6 months they couldn't of thought of more uses for them. Enforcers- high damage, lower survivability. Marauders- low damage, high survivability. Why not? Enforces are actually long range, low survivability, while marauders are just plain high damage, nothing else.
Which is actually the opposite of how they should be.
Marauders traditionally in New Eden are designed to cycle in and out of Bastion Mode, increasing their defensive capacity and abilities to engage targets, but sacrificing their mobility and utility.

I can save you if you let me. Even and Apostate like you has the love of God......even if you don't understand the significance of that now.....the rest of your life, and your children's lives in slavery should allow your family to understand the truth of Gods great benevolence.

Lynn Beck wrote:Michael Arck wrote:I don't know man. I still have nightmares about the LLAV. I see a yellow Camaro with black racing stripes and I have a burning desire to bash it with a baseball bat. It's quite possible for them to, *gasp* BALANCE them. Example: Logi Lav, skill bonus: +15% eficacy to Remote Armor Repairer per level. Role bonus: +25% range to Remote Arnor Repairer per level Base stats are identical to current Lav, but is granted an additional slot on its' preferred tank type- 3/1 for Saga, 1/3 for Methana. Slav: role bonus- +5% to vehicle top speed per level, racial- +10% to small turret rotation per lvel. Marauder Tank- role bonus: +10% to resostances per level(this does not make shields' damage from swarms drop to 30%(80% base, -50%) it makes the damage 40%) racial: +10% efficacy to armor repairer per level(maybe switc to Hardener Efficacy) Enforcer tank- role bonus: +10% to large turret damage per level Racial: +2% range and zoomfidelity to large thrret. As usual with on the spot numbers, they're not what i expect, maybe +2% per level to damage, the idea is to push the idea out there. Same with Flaylocks, people HATE them, but it is still possible to make it useful without being 'LolOp'
Luff you Lynn Beck you make tanks sound fun

As Rattati has said client side patches aren't impossible, maybe in a final game update, say, Uprising 1.9 or something cool like Solace 2.0 (Solace chosen especially.), we could introduce all the things that were ridded of pre-1.7. But we need a list of what they are specifically (I've forgotton half the modules myself), then post them compared with Lynn's stats above in the Features/Requests forum. Anyone with a decent memory/too much time on their hands/bored enough to do that? *glances at Atiim* in the 1.7 respec post CCP listed all the things removed along with what they cost, but no stats. we may be able to fish up some from looking at fitting videos on youtube for pre 1.7 tanks though.
Poor unloved Surya and Sagaris...... I want ya's both back.
What I want more is.......
AMARR HAV! AMARR HAV! AMARR HAV! AMARR HAV! AMARR HAV! AMARR HAV! AMARR HAV! AMARR HAV! AMARR HAV! AMARR HAV! AMARR HAV! AMARR HAV! AMARR HAV! AMARR HAV! AMARR HAV! AMARR HAV! AMARR HAV! AMARR HAV! AMARR HAV! AMARR HAV! AMARR HAV! AMARR HAV! AMARR HAV! AMARR HAV!

militia av should always be better than militia tanks. same for basic, adv, or pro.
its anti vehicle. the counter to av is infantry not vehicles. your tank is supposed to die to av.
True but there is then no reason for my bigger, better main Large Turret to not then have a mode of fire representative of its power.
An no I do not ever want Large Blasters back..... I would like tanks with Shells...... Single Shot, slow reload, high alpha, strong AoE rounds.

Signed.
Trying to discuss them currently but **** it is hard to really identify and answer the problems. Moreover you have varying levels of intensity in terms of a rebalance.
Some have unrealistic expectations.
Others within reason to too powerful.
Others with more radical suggestions that tankers won't like (me) but always profess to have loved in Chromo and Uprising 1.0-1.6.....
