I do think that a CPM or CSM's corp and alliance affiliations are natural things to consider, however, that should not be any kind of automatic vote / no vote criteria. I would remind you that Zatara has a long history and has had quite a few negative and positive interactions with folks way before DNS came about. My concerns with Zatara had nothing to do with his alliance tags, just previous interactions. I think as a candidate he has a lot of potential and i'm very willing to see how he comports himself during the election and I'll vote for him if I think he is one of the top guys I would personally want talking to CCP on my behalf and communicating to me on behalf of CCP. Basing the ability of someone to contribute to the game based on current Alliance Affiliation is not the right way to go. Their platform, whether PC intensive, or NPE intensive, or general immersion is what should be getting them votes or not. Zatara has declared his views, his platform, and what he aims to do as a member of the CPM. Judge him on that, and not on his current Corporate / Alliance affiliation or in-game behaviour. Game personalities tend to be greatly differed from real life personalities, and real life is what the CPM is really about. I disagree with other CPM candidates, and in game, have many rivalries, but out of game, via Skype and other mediums, I tend to have civilised and thought out discourse with all the current candidates that I have spoken to in such a manner. This indicates to me that such a biased view doesn't take into consideration how they actually play out in a real world situation. Being an **hole in game, doesn't always translate into being an **hole in real life, or in regards to platforms. Once you go Black, you just never go back!
