It's tough to watch people who don't know your friend at all try to make judgment calls about their character when you've worked 6-8 hours a day with your friend and recognize people are way off base.
And yet It doesn't excuse anything.
We all need to be respectful and professional.
As for me being cocky in game?
I think I definitely struggle with pride, no one is immune, me most of all.
But I can promise you i'm aware of it and I see it as a flaw and I'm working to make myself better.
I've never for a moment thought of myself as 'higher' than you NAV, makes me sad after everything you feel that way.
I'm sorry I came off like that to you, or anyone for that matter.

You got me wrong bro... You should be cocky in game... If you can kill em better, then why not.. I have no problem with that bro...
But The other statement just ticked me off a bit... "Throwing the community a Bone"
Specially with CPM and voting and such... "I am CPM and I know better than all and i'm better than all" attitude, not what most of the old players are looking for... Don't be a Jenza... You've played this game long enough to know what needs fixing... My vote will go with you DNS or no DNS, because you have learnt most of the gameplay mechanics from the ground... Someone asked you a question in this thread about your goals to help the community.. You'll get the votes, we will expect you to deliver... As a CORP leader you can do whatever you want with your CORP, but as a CPM you have to keep community separated from CORP/Alliance... You have a lot of hatred towards you and FA right now (Some of them are legit, most of them are not) but honestly it should have nothing to do with you becoming a CPM... |

The Big Blue Donut is CCPGÇÖs fault.
- For making the benefit of owning additional districts additive, so that the more districts you own the more ISK you make. (Passive ISK.) If you had to do something in your district to make ISK from it, owning more districts would mean you would have to do more work to get maximum ISK returns. If this was the case there would be a maximum number of districts that a Corp could benefit from depending on their size and resources.
- For allowing district locking so that Corporations could hold many districts without a great deal of effort.
- For not making location matter, so that a powerful Alliance can bring their full strength to bare on any district. If location mattered small Corps might be able to hold districts on isolated hard to get to systems. Smaller alliances might be able to hold a constellation by defending strategic points. It would be much harder to just steam roll the entire Region.
How can you blame a CEO for doing what is in the best interests of his Corp?

NAV, Do you have any experienced in-house representation currently that cares about you? No. Do you have any land? No. Do you have any signs of getting land in the near future? No.
Saying he's "throwing you a bone" isn't some personal attack on you. If I want to do that, I'll make it much more obvious trust me. I'm giving you the reality of the situation.
Zatara is on the opposite side of the fence as far as allegiances go, but he cares about your gaming experience.
If you don't vote for Zatara, then let me ask you this. Who? Who else has the experience to actually talk to the devs and explain the problems this game faces in their entirety, and has the perspective of being both the underdog and the guy on top?
You need someone who brings that perspective and experience to the table. There aren't many players, let alone candidates in that position who fit the bill.
You should make your vote about doing whats best for you, not about what's going to hurt me. If Zatara gets elected, my friend wins and I'm happy. If some incompetent moron gets elected, the game will suffer, therefore you suffer, therefore I win by proxy.
So either way, you can't vote to spite me. Make this about you. |

DNS as an alliance has not district locked. Member groups have, in the past - but that was before DNS was created and at a time when 230+ districts were locked at a time by every group in PC.
Neither has anyone 'actively advocated' district locking. The voices in what would become DNS were the loudest calls for it to be fixed.

DNS never advocated for district locking.
Corporations that existed prior to joining DNS used district locking because there was a situation where it was available to everyone, and choosing not to do it left you at a major disadvantage economically and militarily.
It's not just DNS that did this, it is quite literally every single faction that was a part of PC at the time and not on PFC.
We have never liked district locking, but have accepted it is part of the current game. Damn near all of us would love to see it removed. |

Leave PC? Do point to where you see FA holding a district. How does one leave PC when they're not in it? Our alliance is in it. We are not.
If you're going to bash on us for being a blue donut and farming districts for a ton of ISK in this thread, you might want to realise that you're bashing on completely the wrong people because guess what? We're not landholders.
Presumably you won't accept that as 'proof' though, because you're going to blindly flail and scream at our alliance tags.

As I said, you are blindly judging us based on our alliance tags. This is not a thread about DNS. This is a thread about Zatara. It is your own political bias that has led you to start complaining about DNS abusing mechanics in this thread.
Regardless of how I answer your question, you are either going to crow and make more sweeping generalisations about the entirety of DNS being exploiters or claim that I am wrong, despite your own question being fundamentally flawed and being based off false information.
None of the constituent groups of DNS advocated district locking. None. Zero. Nobody. You can claim that it's 'BS' all you like but that doesn't change the fact that it is true.

What distraction? I answered your question. You don't have a main? Oh. So you have zero experience with PC or player corps then, and have only been in that one NPC corp, and don't actually play?
