Oops! Looks like someone didn't get the memo about switching the helmets on the Cal and Amarr scout suits.
When will that be getting fixed? Has that dev been sacked?
P.S. The new heavy suits look like lazy design. The Amarr looks like it has less armor than these new suits. They all look the same too.

Majority of community wanted full respec and you cook with your CPM friends just a "slice"?! Thats ridiclous, i will be glad if you tell me who arive with this respec idea, what you made. Hell you have 50+ pages full of how community (people who playing your game) want full. When vehicles had respec thats was fine and now when infantry want there is problem. Really setback CCP, you made wrong decision again. Please take a look on that thread once more and think, do our plead ws really for nothing?! Do you really want another outflow of players?! With full respec there was a chance to take back old players, to make community fine. I really dont know why, there is majority of player who was here for full and you just made this. Im disgraced, disapointed, furious and disgusted by this, how you going against community where you can. Is that really that funny be a contra against people who giving you money and playing your game?! Is that really that nice?!

Just not a weapon or dropsuit upgrades respec. Thank the CPM too. They had to fight to get any form of respec.
As if CCP can't just listen to the rest of the community? We don't need a CPM fighting our battles for us. CCP needs to learn to pay better attention to it's own forums.

Increased TTK? Reppers are more effective.
Bonus to rep tools on min logi? Reppers are more effective.
Buffed MDs? Luckily I didn't waste SP chasing down FOTM weapons and have proficiency in MDs.
Resistances for heavy suits? Reppers are more effective.
Reduction in fitting cost for all logis? I jizzed my pants; no need for that CPU upgrade now!
Well played CCP, as an MD logibro I can find nothing to complain about.
As a dropship pilot when in the flying kitten are you going to fix that ridiculous excuse for a vehicle lock?

Heavies :
Holy crap do I love the finalized designs of the Gallente and Caldari heavies. Comparing it to some of the original stuff we got at Fanfest last year there definitely seems to be a better balance between lower body and upper body pieces. With the Caldari heavy in particular looking far more streamlined than the incarnation originally revealed. I'm most certainly a fan of the redesigned helmet pieces for both heavies as well with the Caldari and Gallente heavies losing their lumpy head syndrome and getting something that looks way more ergonomically pleasing instead. The choice to get eyeless on the Gallente variation in particular is something I wholeheartedly approve of.
Pending more information about how Cloak is going to effect the game I'd still put my money on Sentinels/Commandos ruling 1.8. Overarching TTK changes (prof. / damage mods / base damage on rifles) combined with the Resistance bonuses on the Sentinel, unchanged HMG, and the free 10% damage on the Commandos makes me think that there's really not going to be much merit to using any Assault suit in comparison.
Oh and it just got a lot harder to shoot someone out of an LAV too.
Scouts :
I was initially skeptical that anyone would bother going with any Scout suit other than the Gallente for Stealth and the Minmatar for Melee/Hack but it occurs to me that the Caldari scout having a passive range bonus would make it the go-to variation for Sniping as you can sense people far before they can get the jump on you. I was considering speccing into Sniper rifles to give it a go on my alt as a result but I came to the realization that I'm just far better off using my LAV as a roaming Tactical Sniper platform given how powerful Small Railgun Turrets are. Still though, with the confirmation that we're getting a Dropsuit Command respec I'm totally using the next couple weeks to play around with a bunch of different suits to see what I like. Im EXTREMELY happy that Scouts are getting a buff to their slots though as their current slot layout is just ridiculously limiting, 2/2 layout on an ADV Min Light is just **** in its current state. The Gallente ADV Scout (also 2/2 but has higher base health) is objectively better in its current pre-1.8 state.
Still think the Amarr scout is in a weird place, though the ability to run for the duration of a cloak may be more useful than I'm giving it credit for.
---
Seriously though, what's the point of going Gallente/Caldari Assault in 1.8? Is the better slot layout going to mean anything compared to the inherent damage bonus and high base health of the Commando? Are Proto Assaults going to be able to stack more HP than the commandos? Will it matter compared to having access to 2 Light Weapons that you can switch between given the TTK changes that (hopefully) will end up making a second weapon more useful?
And why is the Magsec SMG so hilariously good?
I'd be interested in seeing any sort of real breakdown on the effect of the heat buildup bonus for the Amarr Assault compared to just the straight damage buff when you start factoring in things like proficiency and damage mod bonus changes. 10% base omni damage for a weapon seems like it'll be way more significant an increase than it is right now, hence my hesitation about the direction they took the Assault class's racial bonuses.
We'll see.

The heavy event, still waiting for the ISK and SP rewards.
The 1 million clone event = another 1 million SP
Lastly 1.8 being released = A shitload of SP.

JEBUS FUKCING CHRIST! You didn't even fix the resists on the sentinels! That was pointed out before all the information was even public!
Quote:Minmatar Sentinel Bonus:
3% shield resistance to laser weapons per level. 2% armor resistance to hybrid - blaster weapons per level.
Amarr Sentinel Bonus:
3% armor resistance to projectile weapons per level. 2% shield resistance to hybrid - railgun weapons per level.
You gave Minmatar ARMOR resist to a SHIELD weapon of their ALLY.
You gave Amarr a SHIELD resist to an ARMOR weapon of their ALLY.
You have it almost exactly backward, and this was point out a long time ago.
It would make 50 ******* times more sense to have Minmatar having ARMOR resist to the ARMOR weapon of their ENEMY, and Amarr having SHIELD resist to the SHIELD weapon of their ENEMY.

Basicaly yes, but there is problem with how shortsighted decision CCP making. We have new bonuses, new implement (weapons and armors), new mechaniques and they still thing only command is needed. Basicaly they made one of the dumbest choise ever.

'If I didn't know better, I'd think you had feelings for me!" - Solaire of Astora
First of all, CCP Thanks kindly. I've got to say I can't wait for this patch and I'm absolutely ecstatic over the new changes to the game. These past months since 1.7 was released have been long and frustrating as an infantry player due to vehicle changes but I'll drop that old topic right here. With these changes I am POSITIVE that many new players will finally start trying out infantry roles instead of spending entire matches hiding in militia tanks. I've gotta say I can't complain much over something as small as not getting Weaponry and Dropsuit Upgrade skill respecs as I would have probably reinvested the skill points in my current skills. These new dropsuits look AWESOME and will definitely become new hits on the battlefield, in fact I already have a couple of lines to say while on chat when meeting one of these. You gotta love the new Heavy Frames: Caldari dropsuits as usual look like they're ready to fight anytime and the Amarr are as intimidating as ever, I hereby customize Minmatar Commando Frames to "Heavy Kong" Fittings as they could probably get on top of buildings to shoot down MD shots at enemy hordes and shout in dominance. As for Gallente Heavies, well what else is there to call them but "Heavy Brutes"? I mean I have been waiting patiently for a G-1 Heavy Frame and I am NOT dissapointed, seriously with looks like those this sounds like it could be their motto "If all else fails, headbutt them to death" But the LOVE coming for Scouts is immense indeed. The Caldari scouts look like they can find even the stealthiest player with ease and I shall call Amarr Scouts the "Raptors" of DUST 514, not only do they look like raptors but their scout bonuses complement their looks PERFECTLY (I'm gonna get jumpscared when I get killed from behind by one of these). But I am a Gallente Scout/Logi at heart and my "Dragonfly" Scout says Thanks INFINITELY for the SWEET additional Infantry Equipment and Low Module slots, Not to mention that as a Logi with Active Scanners I am relieved to be able to find those lone players that wreak havoc when they infiltrate our defenses to destroy our spawns and supplies. I'm not exactly ecstatic over the lowering of damage points for weapons but just thinking about owning an infinite dropsuit with extra modules and equipment that is also harder to kill makes me a little glad about the lowered TTK. New players will also have higher chances of progressing without dying i.e. 0/18 times per match and I'm sure that well get lots of extra competition these next months. Once again CCP, Thanks Kindly for this awesome update.
DUST 514 Is the first FPS I played actively for the PS3 and is my favorite FPS to this very day. :)

To the QQ respec bodies, they didnt change the upgrades, that is why they are still choices YOU made. the suit command respec is because the choices we originally made are no longer available in the form that we chose them in. That's pretty much a complete 180* from their 'make your choices and live with them' quote. Dropsuit upgrades should mostly be maxed out anyways regardless of class.
