Wow, I go out to eat and come back to see a (for the most part) intelligent discussion. Not saying I'm RIGHT or Telc and his side is WRONG. I'm also not saying that the current damage values are EXACTLY as they should be. I'm saying, it's a st...

Currently, yes. Prior builds, no. If you feel YOU did just as well, not going to dispute. But GENERALLY speaking, a militia player was at a BIG disadvantage.

Think about it: When you factor SP into shields, armor, weapon dmg, etc AND the old dmg values, a new player had NO chance against a vet in proto/complex gear. This ruins the FPS side of the game. The way it is now, skill actually plays more of a...

I'll keep this short and sweet. Game is grind-to-win, not pay-to-win. (although truth be told, with the most recent changes, a GOOD new player, can hold their own) Skill points matter. Spend your first few hundred thousand skill points on levelin...

351. CCP: Sniper rifles need a damage increase - here's why. - in General Discussions [original thread]
Sniping in this game is pretty easy. A OHK Sniper Rifle is bad for business.... especially with how easy it is to snipe in Dust. As is, a good sniper that gets a fair number of headshots, can still down a lot of players w/o running thru too much a...

Weapons and suits, etc still are tiered. Proto stuff still gives you an advantage, just not as much. Not sure if you were in early builds Ydubbs, but literally a mediocre proto player could crush groups of 2-3 highly skilled players using militia ...
