I see no reason why not. Perhaps one day, capsuleers and mercenaries will be able to interact with said items together in a station. Incarna was disappointing, but I'm sure CCP could do it better next time. A true Ambulation.

I know that I haven't. Either way, it's going to be unneeded eventually. Also, they can't do anything besides disallowing Instant Battle from putting you into maps you've recently been in. I suppose that might be a good thing, but I'm not sure.

I think it would be interesting to receive part of what you lost as salvage, but only if you win the match. That might encourage people who have lost some expensive fittings to keep on fighting instead of ragequitting and cutting their losses.

There is no such thing as a safe place on the map, except inside the MCC in Skirmish, which allows you to choose your spawn location, one of which is inside the MCC.
