I believe it's a graphical glitch where all the new commando's are not displaying their proper colors. The Amarr obviously has a different color scheme from the basic frame, and at prototype. The current models are all the same for the new ones.

Had this same problem. Disassembled my controller, rapped that little rubber pad in electrical tape, glued it in, and reassembled it. Worked wonders. Zero problems to date after fixing it about 2 months ago.
