Without going into complete details with examples that one could find on their own, I have spent a couple hours focusing on the Caldari Sentinel and it's possible loadouts... Ranging from task specific loadouts, to playstyle/general combat variations. At first glance, I saw great potential here... but then...
The issue that I found with this dropsuit, is that it has way to much PG, and not enough CPU.
With the 4 High slots and one Low slot:
Around 50% of loadouts - will be forced to give up the low for a CPU upgrade and still not have enough in a few variations...
resulting in wearing standard / advanced gear in most of the proto suit. OR leaving slots open; typcially being the nade and sidearm + 1 high - or two high slots with standard nade / sidearm.
The other 50% of loadouts will not use a CPU upgrade:
Without the cpu upgrade, the entire suit besides 3 modules OR 2 modules + a weapon will be advanced gear.
Now obviously, most suits even when fully upgraded CPU and PG reduction skills are in place either have a shortage of CPU OR PG with the opposite within about 80-100% used. Regardless, there will always be tradeoffs to advanced gear SOMEWHERE in the suit... and occasionally even having an empty slot.
The issue is that the 4 High slots on the Heavy have no PG heavy modules that can be used... Resulting in 50% to 70% PG useage on nearly every fitting.
There is no way to maximize this suit's slots, and it will nearly always result in the suit being a 3 high 1 low suit.
The easy fixes would be to switch the slot count to 3 2, or adjust the PG down, and increase the CPU up. (Or create a PG heavy dropsuit module...)

I really don't know where you got the idea that you have to fit a CPU upgrade on the suit or you can't maximize its potential, but you're quite wrong, as I've just demonstrated. |

Have you tried the breach recently? You'd be surprised what you and another player can do. You also only need one forge to take on an ADS. I really don't see why people are complaining as much as they are. |
