Yes it is. If it's the exact place I'm thinking of, there's a little overhang nearby, and it feels like the overhang has an invisible wall underneath it that prevents you walking under it, even though you'd expect there to be heaps of headroom.

Confirming that hitting default when uplinks are available sometimes makes it look like you're spawning on that uplink anyway. Whether you actually do is another thing entirely, and something that I haven't tested.
