Currently, the passive suit scanner is base 10m at 45, 55 or 60dB precision (vs suits at 45, 50 and 65) By design, that gives you only a small window to notice people sneaking up on you. but it also gives you zero warning when fast-moving vehicle...

No; just adding a ferroscale to an existing fit (taking off an unrelated module) is enough to increase your speed towards your base speed. The higher level and more plates you fit, the more you notice the difference.

Hmm that may be the reason I've been overheating way, way more often in uprising 1.2 compared to pre-patch. The overheating cooldown seems to be a lot longer than I remember, too - did this change?

Even the assault scrambler is worse than the standard AR at range, due to higher kick when scoped (i.e. the exact situation where a scrambler is meant to be better than an AR)
