The idea that CCP intends to fund DUST with EVE subscriptions is pretty crazy. There'd have been no reason to make the game then. Sure, some revenue from EVE might be used to support the initial investment, but DUST needs to make money on it's own...

It definitely needs a buff. Blaster turrets are supposedly relatively short range, so I would think swarms should exceed that, being self-propelled projectiles and all. The biggest issue, to me, is lock-on being particularly too short versus drops...

Unintentional mechanics are what makes New Eden what it is. It's a sandbox. The whole idea is for people to use creativity and smarts to defeat otherwise insurmountable foes. Jihad jeeps, ramming derpships, that's the very essence of this game.
