It's important to remember it's a light AV weapon. So in terms of light vehicles, think about damage to light and medium vehicles. You shouldn't be thinking about taking out an HAV with just one Light AV. That's what heavy weapons are here for.

It has ammunition. I can't imagine Rails having a lot of ammo but shield tanks can have ammo supplies in the low slots. Although they are very CPU intensive when they only have 1 low slot so probably not.

My only issue is that the damage level is not that noticeable throughout the levels. Whereas the swarm launcher, even though it's been fixed in 1.7, still has a MUCH better damage gain than the plasma cannon that increases just about 100 damage ...
