You bought currency, or bought a pack which contained the BPOs, you didn't spend money on the items, you spent money on AUR.
On the other side of the fence, the bottom line is, you spent money to get something which is now being taken away from you.
I guess it's in the TOS and EULA but do EU really give a TOSs? i bought my packs on psn store i bought the dren gear not the aur... the aur was exta.... i just spammed it on tanks...... i spent 300$ on dust if my valuables are to be removed can i actually get something of value equal to what i spen on this game????
You are suppose to bring this up to Sony, not CCP, you used PSN cash not Aurum, you can make a ticket about this to Sony, I know it sounds weird but CCP can not refunded you PSN credit as you didn't purchase it from them, a similar thing happened on Steam, a man bought Bioshock Infinite, apparently he has strong religious beliefs that conflicts with the game's themes that he wasn't aware of, so instead of asking Irrational Studios for a refund, which they didn't owe him, he asked Valve to refund him because he paid Valve for the game, by the way, he was given a full refunded since he only recently bought the game.
All retailers do this, digital and physical, Game Stop only offers full refunds within 7 days after purchase after that they can only offer you store credit, you can still bring this up to Sony but be warned, you will most likely get only PSN credit and that's if they accept your reasons for a refund. |

To request a refund on something that is being changed even after you have used it is like spending money on a game, then later that game being closed, shut down, etc and asking for a full refund of the game you purchased years ago.
Or here is another scenario, you buy a game, for this instance WoW, you spent 15/month on it to get from level 1-25 or whatever level you like, then suddenly WoW decides, hey now lets offer it free for x levels. Do they owe you for paid months you spent? NO!
Nothing in this game is set in stone. Hell it's not even fully released yet. New content is added/removed each month. You knew this getting into the game. So now asking for a refund on something you have used, and hell they are even offering a refund @ a HIGHER rate for a USED ITEM ( where else does that happen? ), is just ridiculous.
Save the AUR if you don't like what is there atm.
Hell, majority of you didn't raise this much fuss when they removed/changed several other things in the past, now because it affects you directly it's illegal, sneaky, bait and switch, etc....
The game is FREE, with NO subscription, NO cost to purchase.
Now lets move on, either with you guys or without, but let's seriously drop the QQ fest and the threats of lawsuits that if you're concerned of a few hundred $'s will never happen because of the THOUSANDS you would spend for attorney fees.

Also, if you're a closed-beta vet who managed to purchase BPOs at 10-30 AUR a piece back then and you own these few BPOs being removed, you stand to profit a lot in AUR. Fixed |

Here is the thing though. I don't have any vehicle BPOs myself, but I feel this is a slippy slope, and how long until CCP comes for dropsuit modules? I purchased AUR for the ability to buy BPOs before they were gone from the market. Just like CCP told me too, and I thought about it for a few days and even researched how much they would benefit me in the future knowing that I would never need ISK to run a decent suit. I planned out my purchase and executed it based on the promise that BPOs would always be there to fall back on from CCPs dev blogs. Now here we are not even 2 months later and they are removing some of those "permanent" purchases with little thought on how the consumer feels and not even offering a suitable substitute. AUR is not suitable. I purchased a "permanent" item with my AUR, now there are none of those on the market. I don't want AUR in return. I want the cash back. Put it into my PS account. I am a PS+ member, I am sure I will find something to spend it on. Hell, if CCP offers something good in the future I might even reinvest it back to them.
To push people to buy an item, and then remove it 2 months later though..... This is the sign of a disorganized and/or sheisty company. Or the fact that the playerbase is actually so low, that CCP is scared that once we as a community realize that we actually hold the power of future AUR purchases.... well. The first thing they want to do is get rid of our BPOs, because they do not want a satiated player base. They want us to buy more AUR, infact, they need it.
BPOs, DO NOT, mess with the future ingame economy. They mess with CCPs bottomline. If you have the BPO, why buy the expendable new mod that CCP has on the market? This is what I am fighting against. This is the big picture that all you "BPOs are bad for the ingame economy" people never think of. I am an earthly being. I have lived through 34 years of being the villain and the hero. The only qualification you need for that is knowing when to use your middle finger.
Well today I am using my middle finger, because I see what CCP is trying to fool everyone into. And I am against it. |

plus 1.
great point!
we bought permanent items and now all we have are consumable items?
I didn't sign up for that when I bought aur...
psn credit is the only right choice ccp, or leave our bpo's alone!
SAY NO TO BPO REMOVALS!

To be honest, if I lost my "Toxin" Assault Rifle or "Dragonfly" Assault, etc., I wouldn't care. I can still make equivalent gear for cheap. The same goes for the "Primordial" Medium Frame, or whatever. Use the Aurum, and then ISK. I didn't rush to the store and buy the PSN card and then get this Aurum because CCP said to, I did it because I WANTED to. I understand what you're saying people, I do, but "Subject to change" means subject to change. You're losing FOUR BPO's, that will not function.

The promise was equivalent, AUR is not equivalent because there are no more BPOs on the market. That means that they give you back AUR, you buy the new shite and then when you die it is gone. I didn't buy a BPO for the AUR value. I bought it so that as long as DUST 514 is active I have this thing that is no ISK cost to me because I supported CCP with real money in a F2P game.
And if you "wouldn't care" then scrap them and take a video of you doing it. I am awaiting the youtube link to you doing that. |

I did not buy AUR to spend on consumable items that vanish into thin air when destroyed. I purchased BPOs so that I can have an ISK free group of items to use when I see fit. The fact that you are swindling people out of their purchase is a bad business practice and I hope that people see this act and it makes up their mind to not buy any more AUR from you. You bought Aurum. What you intended to do with the Aurum is not really CCPs problem. Besides that I kinda doubt they can give you back the money, because you bought the Aurum via PSN. As this is a PSN purchase you would have to go through Sony to get money back. So actually CCP is doing the best they can. Not even all QQing in the world will be able to give you your money back.
Do you crybabies really think that sony/CCP havnt gone into this in depth......executives at tables ..meetings emails....more meetings emails..lawyers...more lawyers..
The only Facts here are-
-Nobodys gonna get nothin but Aurum for there vehicle Bpo's
-You are not going to be able to block everysingle door to an objective with your vehicles anymore.(Im rich I still will)
-The rest of your BPO's are next sooner than you think...
-That assualt carthum scrambler rifle is meeaaaan..(just figured it out earlier today after a short time with a few failed rounds with a Imperial..)im thinking il start working on the prof. if they dont nerf em in 1.7)wheres the patch notes!
I dont use 1 single BPO i have some that i got in merc packs but id rather have boosters. Maybe the fact that you use them is why people like me stomp you.
I have a speacial T-Bag/on the head LAV drop for the OP when I see him... for taking my full focus away from trolling A/V nerfs threads.
