It applies outside of the SP pool. So if the pool is 571k, you will get an additional 571k in bonus SP with the 7-day omega active booster.

Obviously you'll cap out faster if you can get higher WP scores though, especially with this event as the SP from WP is 5x.

We need more events that are consistent with lore, involve some factional conflict, and progress the war among the 4 nations.

The 5x skillpoints only affects those gained from WP, as you stated. It does not affect the sp gained for time in battle. I am part shovel, part man, full scout, and a little bit special. You just ended match and got 15k sp, your bonus sp count left over after last game was 100k, you have an omega active booster and now your total points for game is 30K (15+15). Your 100k pool is now 85K. As you can see you do not get 2x your starting pool of sp, all bonus sp is used for boosters all the booster does is get you your sp faster not more sp than pool allows.

I'm sorry, but the math you just described contradicts what you say. If you gain 30K SP in a match but your pool drops by only 15K, then you are in fact getting a free 15K of SP that still stays in your pool, which is in fact how boosters work. In a normal week, 200K SP pool, with a regular week booster, if you cap you gain 300K SP instead of that 200K faster. Otherwise, there is zero point to the boosters.
