Coordinated sniper fire often works for snipers in a Sentinel. Two or three Charge snipers, all aiming for the head, will drop one fairly quick. When I've sniped snipers off the MCC, using the starter fit, I just aimed for the very top of the head.

Can't give much more info on the first one, since I'd literally just spawned and then boom! As for the second, I had partial shields (about 20% maximum) when the RE flew in and detonated.
