How can I kill them? Can't counter snipe due to the mcc hitbox. And before you say ADS...don't have them yet.

For me it's not even the hit box. I encountered a thales sniper on the mcc the other day who was really stacking up the kills. I tried to counter snipe with head shots but they had a proto sentinel caldari suit on. Then after my position was revealed i was counter sniped........ fast..... They proceeded to reach the teens, the twenties, the thirties, until they ended 33/0. At one point i tried to land a dropship on the mcc but their sub machine gun was proto as well so yea... Best i can tell you that i should've tried myself is to put on a heavy suit and get a forge gun, then just hope it can reach them. No suit withstands the forge gun.
If they arent in a proto sentinel suit just get a tactical sniper rifle and go for 2-3 quick headshots and your good to go. But if they have a thales they are probably in a heavy suit. So you might need a stronger rifle. I feel your pain, good luck. |

Coordinated sniper fire often works for snipers in a Sentinel. Two or three Charge snipers, all aiming for the head, will drop one fairly quick.
When I've sniped snipers off the MCC, using the starter fit, I just aimed for the very top of the head.

Can confirm that they can be sniped off the MCC. A headshot with a heavily damage modded charge sniper or Thales will get most suits. For the scrubs that use sentinels, your best bet is a kalaakiota tac sniper. If you can pull off 3 quick headshots they will not have time to react and almost nothing will survive that.
If they do, movement on the MCC is very slow, so it's difficult for someone to move away, that gives you time for at least one more shot, even with a charge sniper.

your tacnet tells you the weak spot on every thing you point your weapon at
i have killed many a mcc sniper, with the help of another sniper
we have found that two rifles double tapping their face takes down any suit

Thanks for the info guys, I really just think I had a bad angle on him or something cause I had my thales aimed right at his head n it kept showing up on the display as the mcc.

Note that this isn't a sniper IN the MCC. This is a sniper ON the MCC.

Forge gun, rail tank, ads, std ds with gunner, another sniper or an ob can all kill mcc snipers. You need to be far enough back to get above the mcc shields if you are shooting from ground, get high up on a tower even. On the small map with 5 objectives on raised platforms with the pipe gantrys you can even snipe from a small edge of the enemy mcc! |

So what I did before I got the ADS was take the cheapest gorgon I could fly, get in with the cheapest heavy I can get (MLT Cal Heavy) and equip the cheapest HMG and a mlt damage mod. I fly there in the sneakiest way possible, jump out, and kill them. 9 out 10 times, you should only have to do this once or maybe twice. If you participated in the match a decent amount before pulling off this then you will make your isk back.
The other method is to be in a squad and tell someone about it. A lot of people have ADS's simply to take out pesky snipers. They come back and land and recall it.
Some keys here. Call in the gorgon the farthest you can possibly call it from within your red line. Fly as high as possible and move all the way to the edge of the red. Then move lower until about MCC height. Make sure to be off to the right or left of the sniper the whole time so they don't see you coming. Use the afterburner and move toward them, land, and get out and just mow them down from behind. Unfortunately, until you get good at it you might find yourself not getting the kill, crashing, etc. That's why you stay cheap. I think it cost me about 40k to do this. If you get REALLY good, you can stack armor and one rep on your gorgon and then commit road kill by landing on top of them, poppin on your afterburner and get out. It's hard to do b/c if you hit the mcc a little too hard (easy to do) it will blow up.
