The main nerf I want to HMG is the removal of that slowdown effect. As soon as you even get hit by one of those things, if you aren't nearby a corner where you can get around it in about a second, you're dead as you can't move.

Yep, guess I just must be a brick tank scout as I use two armor plates because I actually like a bit of a fallback in case my stealth attacks go awry. Who would even sit and just put only all armor and shields on a scout suit anyway?

I think my Amarr logi is just fine. I can bring in uplinks and still be fortified enough to either get around or behind enemy lines. Then I can also secure an objective with my squadmates if necessary.

Personally I'm glad they're nerfed. I've stopped getting killed in my logi suits by people I can't even see anywhere. Makes my job a bit easier without being a constant bullet magnet.
